  1. Gary, I think it is more likely that you simply did not pay enough $ for those Khorns of yours . . . . . remember the old saying that " . . . . you only get what you pay for!" Obviously , you didn't pay enough! No amount of tweeking is gonna change that . . . . sad but true. It would probably be better if you would ship those old freebies out to the left coast and buy another pair of Khorns. Heck, some of us out here would even split the shipping charges with ya. Relax, we still luv ya. EDIT: well, one again my attempt at humor falls flat. Perhaps my spouse is right, maybe my sense of humor really does seem weird to most normal people. I guess I will forever be labelled as just another fini-wannabe . . . . .
  2. Yeah, but I did not know I was supposed to pay attention the the "dialogue" in the adult films . . . . . .. I thought adult films were primarily action films . . . . . have I been missing something???? Damn, now I will have to go back and watch them all over again . . . . . . . .
  3. . . . . . and somewhat related is the difference betweeen a comma and a period. Last week I was bidding on A'gon, from the office while I was trying to multi-task so I could go home, so somewhat distracted. I bid 37,75 but didn't catch that I hit the comma rather than a decimal point. Operating on autopilot while confirming my bid I hit the "confirm" by instinct at about the same time I realized it said "3775.00" . . . . . . wow, talk about a tightening of the sphincter muscle . . . . . ultimately able to contact the A'gon people and was able to reduce my bid to the reserve amount . . . .
  4. IMHO, both Kev and Aud Nectar are class acts. Congrats to both, and thanks to Kev for thinking of the forum family first. Let's get back to the music.
  5. Hey Aviserated (or Eviscerated), I don't know you, but your recent posts seem to suggest some anger issues. Perhaps these could be dealt with in a more productive manner , ie,somewhere else. We're all just trying to get along and not get lost in the "family" squabbles. What say we all "play nicely " together?
  6. The law is a living ideal, to be applied by juries based upon current thoughts and perceptions about societal values, the latter of which change with time and developments in our world. Lawyers advocate for clients, but those arguments and ideas are accepted or rejected by juries depending upon the collective wisdom of the group (jury). If you don't like the decisions of juries, do not blame the lawyers, but rather blame those of our fellow citizens who do everything they can to AVOID serving on a jury. Think of the guy who hates politicians , so he doesn't vote. In my opinion, he is not entitled to complain about the system if he is not going to participate in it. Next time someone you know is tempted to try "escaping" from jury duty, ask them who they would like judging their case when the need arises. Sure, it can be inconvenient, but it a part of a process that we ALL need to maintain a balance in a civilized society.
  7. Michael, good buddy, don't make me come all the way back there to b*tch-slap you! I am a lawyer, and a damn good one at that. I am trying hard to maintain a professional attitude in what has become a "business", as are many of my brethen. The law and people who practice it are just like every other facet of life: some are good, honest and noble people trying to reach a high ideal; there be some that are just treading water and making no waves; and there be some that ought to be shot. Some are men, some are women, some are white, pink, blue, green, straight, gay, lost-in-between, etc. You use a camera, pornographers use cameras: should we view all of you the same? I think not, and I dare say you would be offended if anyone suggested we should.
  8. i'd go a couple or 3 if all heavyweight cotton, dark blue, dark green, black or white . . . . XL and good quality baseballl cap. . . . .. none of the cheesy stuff for us klipschaholics...... i dunno 'bout a thong though . . . ain't quite there yet, even if this is california
  9. Chris, I am more than interested in the 630, I will commit to buying it. EDIT: by the same token, if you feel obligated to give kdcarroll first crack at it, or if forum etiquette so dictates, I will understand. . . . . . . .. . understand, but I will still ***** about it!
  10. . . . . so, what did happen to dragonfyr?? where did he go, or why did he go??
  11. the sony sxrd is very nice, and i almost bought it . . . . but my 23 yr old daughter, with better eyes than mine, saw alot more of the shadow imaging on fast movement-----kind of a blur. . . . subtle, but once detected, more "noticeable" sat with the wife and watched the panny plasma for quite a while at one store, and then took her down to the pioneer joint to see the phd 930. My wife is cheap (money wise) and I KNEW that when she saw the pioneer was $1500 more than the panny, that she would "prefer" the panny. WRONG - - she much preferred the picture on the new 930 . . . .. surprised the heck outta me (which rarely happens after 25 yrs of wedded "bliss") but it is sswwwweeeeeeeeeeeetttttttttt !
  12. Allan, thank you. You are always gracious in sharing your knowledge. Patrick
  13. Gary, I can't quite afford the $4,000 . . . . . . . . . . but I will give you FOUR times what you paid for your Khorns!![]
  14. I had the pleasure of seeing the Rosewood Khorns when I got my Cherry CW's from Jordan a year or so ago . . . . . . and my, oh my, they are sweet! The photographs posted of my CW's looked great, but in person the craftsmanship and attention to detail really stand out. I sat there drooling - in love with my new CW's, but just going "WOW" as I feasted my eyes on the Rosewood Khorns. I would buy these for top dollar if I had corners, and thought the Mrs. wouldn't immediately go to ebay and start searching for Lorena Bobbitt's used scissors. (She thought -thinks- the Cw's are too big, and she wasn't biting when I suggested that actually the Khorns are "smaller" because they slip into the unused corners, etc .. .. ) Seriously, you will not be disappointed, and besides that, Jordan is a helluva nice guy and has added alot to the communal font of knowledge around here.
  15. 8. try and make sense out of this froum 9. or try to spell "forum" if you have been drinking breakfast Larry, just kidding with ya!
  16. I am of the same mindset as Biggerbebetter . . . . I don't think he has any Belle's to sell. I think it is a scam from start to finish. Hey coy[o]tee, if you win, we will all help you load 'em up.
  17. Gosh Gary, you probably will have to pay someone to take all that noisey trash away. Good thing you only got a "low end" rig . . . . . . Tell ya what, just cuz I'm a helluva nice guy, and past customer, send it my way and I'll even split the shipping costs with you.
  18. Hey Dave, long time no hear! Glad to see (hear) that you are still alive, and that Liam is an active little boy! Best regards, Patrick
  19. hey Charlie, you ought to win a prize for coming up with those . . . . . RAOTGLMAO
  20. Bruce, I can't say it any better than Rev. Daddy Dee did. Beautiful lady, great picture, everlasting love, amd memories to last a lifetime. Ya gotta kinda wonder what song the Heavenly choir of Angels was singing as St. Peter swung open them pearly gates so the Lord could welcome her home . . . . . Peace to you, the brother of us all, Patrick
  21. Godspeed as you seek a balance in your life. Michael, believe in yourself. All the best, Patrick
  22. I misunderstood the title to this thread . . . . . . I thought it had to do with Dean cross-dressing again. Oh well, I'll just have to go troll elsewhere . . . . . . just kidding witchya deano!
