  1. He is just giving fair warning to those who have roomfuls of gear and decisions on what needs to be thinned. Your collection may fall into this group so Carl is allowing you plenty of time to decide - gotta go, gotta stay - Better get with it ---

    What I Got Today!

Nice - the infamous flying carpet mouse. Fly safely --- surf cautiously.
  4. Good readbetween the lines Detective Sargent! Sssshhhhhhh --- or as the famous Barney Fife once said - "nip it, nip it in the bud"!
  5. "The little shelvy things seem pretty thin and seem to vibrate". You don't think the cabinet research/design didn't take this into account? I can't imagine that PWK's final and Roy's crowning achievement as successor to the KHorn would have overlooked anything like this into the design.
  6. ^^^^^ following this topic from afar but that looks like it would make a shitt pile of bass!?
  7. So Aaron bought these huh? News to me!!?? Just sayin'
  8. "Tone"? Can it be verbalized or must it be heard to know its there? I think the latter --
  9. Nothing I like to brag about but I am a Type 2 myself, diagnosed about 7 years ago, I'm 64 in a month. Nope, not heavy, got up to about 200 lbs. once and saw a picture of myself at my daughters graduation and that was it. Been a steady 180 since and of late holding a good steady 170-175. I think 175 , 6'1" is a good ratio. Father dies young so not sure if he was diabetic and if so no one was aware, mom was not. I felt perfectly fine, no health issue what so ever and actually diagnosed myself. I had begun to drink an enormous amount of water, couldn't get enough which was not like me at all. I knew this wasn't normal and after about a month or so of this I started investigating and remember reading something about excessive water drinking and diabetics, Bingo. It is what it is, daily meds, have a yearly physical, yearly complete eye exam and eat normally.
  10. ^^^^^ A good question. Will 2a3's drive the bins - for sure. With amazing low bass. BUT will it have an ultimate bass Slam and not just low bass frequency? Probably not, don't know how it could but on the other hand am I willing to listen at that type of sound levels? I'm not.
  11. This question can open far more additional questions than answers. I do know that I have several amps the two with least power, George Wright 2a3 single ended monoblocks at 2.5 watts and another KT66 SE amp at 5-6 watts all driving various Klipsch speakers KHorns being one. My room is good sized at approx. 23x25 stretching to 28x25. I have no DB meter but sitting back 17 feet the 2a3 will play as loud as I would ever want to listen. Is it rock show level loud, no. But with plenty authority for my ears. The "loud" question, enough power question are both very subjective to the individual.
  12. Looking at your thermometer you might need consider with less numbers to the + side and more to the -. Seems you have a greater chance at going past -50 than approaching + 200! Damn, that's cold!!!
  13. I have two Klipsch bars, 10b and 20b. My first 10b bar had to be returned to Klipsch as the wireless sub would not connect. After that it was fine, 20b worked from day one. Never, on either, did I need to turn off the TV speakers. Optical to bar, plug to power and go. There should be no reason to look at the TV menu and the Klipsch instructions, as marginal as they are, do not show this is needed either. Oh, the 20b + sub plays Big. Happy with both.
  14. Had one too and as much as I like(d) sport bikes it was too much for me. Bought a perfect, low mileage unit and sold it the same. One of the few "production" sport bikes that was a real race bike in disguise.
  15. Not a clue but Ducati has made huge leaps in service schedule for desmo's. I believe 15 or 16000 miles on newer models. A far cry from the 3-4000 years ago.
  16. Rossi is Way Too smart, and old, to race the Isle. He is and has been the Golden Boy in GP; he ain't gonna risk his life to prove anything on the island.
  17. Don't know the percentage of either but conversely gas mileage goes down.
  18. Any political types planning to boycott your little gathering? Their loss ----
  19. Well, Jimbo as much as I would like to accommodate your request I'd hate to ruin the free pair experience you'll soon have? Provided your positive comments were filed as positive. To somewhat satisfy you have a look at the photos from CES, mine look very much like those. And I wish Mr. Bonehead would have met me at the factory as it would have been much warmer. Chief was ice fishing at Lake Huckabee in Hope and was barely recognizable in his fishing garb, parkas and icesicles hanging from his beard. He merely pointed at the bed of his truck and mumbled something like - "there they are, I've got one on the hook, good luck". I was grateful none the less.
  20. ^^^^^ A chocolate martini is not a martini, would qualify as flavored drink only. Similar to a Starbucks double mocha, frape', caramel, whipped creme hazel nut vanilla latte with almond milk over shaved ice with a sprinkle of chocolate cinnamon nutmeg served in a 16 oz. paper cup ain't no f'in cup-o-coffee. Now I Could tell you about the office party where I had my last martini's, double most of them but no need to embarrass myself - again, first time was plenty.

    GO PACKERS!!

I believe my wife and I referred to that as a "chicken shitt" ploy. Seems we are on the right track ---
  22. Since I started the viscous rumor I should fess up - yes, you are naive and gullible. Although I did fight the Midwest ice storm, drove to Hope and picked up my free pair yesterday.
  23. Grand 'Ma knows best. Better dress accordingly ---
  24. Bah Humbug - the KHorn speaks for itself, by itself. Any "additions" only defeat the Masters design. Enjoy them as God intended, in all their naked glory. I do use a small, sealed 10 inch sub with my RB75's but then I'm augmenting inch woofers. The right tool for the right job. The KHorn is equipped with its own, built in tool belt.
