  1. those are in great condition... congratulations. welcome to the fold. dont worry to much about missing the Klipschorns, the las scalas are well worth the price of admission and if you dont have a corner to stick the speaker in, they are a better choice IMHO. best bang for buck is cap swap, best sound for your buck is a newly designed XO.
  2. isn't it listener and room dependent where something begins and where it ends?
  3. I think it's a great idea to build a folded design of your choosing out of mulitple layers of card board laid up about 1/2-1" thick... that is a great project.
  4. I'm still trying to see the jewel in OP's pictures.
  5. my first pair of Cornwalls had Formica on the outside... that didn't keep me from loving them. Forget the looks, embrace the sound. congrates OP.
  6. So this isnt a craigslist engine? Because, as we all know, searchtempest has been around FOR YEARS...
  7. Five F1 engines or seven... what's the difference.
  8. what we have to ask is, is 130dbs at 25Hz enough to bring down a house if left on for say an hour or two.
  9. I kind of wonder why the KLF-20 and KLF-30's are not thought of as highly as Heritage (lack of respect ). My thoughts is they are just as much Heritage as Heritage. - Better mid horns than the exponential horns but same drivers - Same tweeters - 2 10" drivers in the 20's that can pretty much keep up with a Cornwall and blow away a Heresy - 12" drivers in the 30's are used in the Jubilees that can almost keep up with a Khorn. Sounds like Heritage or maybe Super Heritage to me other than their more slender bodies. I think Klipsch should bring though they would seriously impact the sales of their other lines and cost more to manufacture then simple 2 ways. I've never listened to the klf-10s so can't speak there. I could not disagree more... the KLF is a fine speaker, fine... But it's not a Heritage. I've owned my share of both... if I wanted to rock, I might take a KLF however if I wanted refinement with realistic spacial qualities, I am taking the cornwall every time. that's my personal choice, yours is probably different.

also... take a look at ALK/fastanes offerings for direct fit replacement.
  11. 12x16x8 is fairly small... CW's are perfect, but the heresy might be a better fit since you plan on using a SW and the room is only 1500+ sqft in volume. (Heresy is going to be cheaper also) am I the only one wondering what a "Primaluna Dialogue Integrated amp" is?
  12. hey... super bowl time again.
  13. Lol.. maybe. Never know until you try it.
  14. My cactus, Henry, got his first bloom this year! Same color flower as last year
  15. I'd like to see what would happen if the two konos were bridged.
  16. Whats the deal with the picture of the interconnects... I'd never use any crap built like that ever again. Great looking LS... gl with the sale
