  1. Im not sure why you would want a verticle dispersion pattern unless the speakers were elevated... can someone explain?
  2. ^ Oh nice... give us specifics on that please.
  3. Put it on eBay... I'll bid on it
  4. Boots and cats and boots and cats...
  5. I even listen to "noise" sometimes... my favorite is Pita/get out album, thankfully I could find this on Vinyl. be careful though, it will absolutely rip your speakers up. the LP has lots of low frequency signal and get's really crazy towards the end of the song.
  6. maybe it (old tread) did not navigate to the new forums...
  7. shipping a pair of speakers this big is a friggen nightmare. I don't know how ebay sellers do it week in and week out without going freight (Palletizing) you could go to your hardware store, buy 2-3" Styrofoam and cut it to size (6 pieces) and tape that around each speaker before adding a layer of corrugated cardboard... but that still would not be legitimate because many shippers want and addition 2-3" of space around the inner box(Styrofoam)
  8. I listen to it occasionally... I like all kinds, dubstep, ambient, house... even acid rock etc etc
  9. wrap them in thick blankets and strap them face to face on a pallet.
  10. wake up NY folks... a couple good starting places right there.
  11. I covered all this in post number 3...
  12. not bad... looks like a good candidate for a fastrack horn upgrade and veneer refinish.
  13. sans Grill covers in these pictures
  14. Kate Bush... sound that can kill.
  15. I offered the most expensive solution
  16. I've often wondered why no one has ever built and added two little outer "wings" on the Klipschorn LF section to simulate a corner placement... it would appear to be fairly easy to add another layer of Birch along the angled back of the speaker than forward towards the front/LP.
  17. Computer > Asynchronous USB controller > external DAC > Amplifier > Speakers. then again you could just load the computer files to a flash drive and plug that directly into your Amplifer via the USB adapter on the front of your unit or via Ethernet connection.
