  1. I have them in my La Scala's and Heresy's (along with CT-120's). They sound great, but so did my K-55's... I wanted to make my speakers 'new' again, so I went with what was "better".
  2. The La Scala has always used an driver with a lower Fs than what you're getting out of it in the horn.
  3. I am positive it will go mandatory... When they trust it won't potentially take a hit on manpower/forces, since they don't actually care about you as an individual. If they're not there yet, I'm not there...
  4. Recently retired military here... After a lifetime of getting forced to take shots, the military hasn't made this mandatory yet. I think I'll wait. I think this will get solved, but I am not in a rush for being in on the first run(s) of these. In 10 years: "Have you or a family member had a COVID shot between xxxx-xxxx? You may be entitled to money".
  5. Yeah, this thread is odd. Two guys in the video talk about their speakers.

That is correct: This pass was with the hood acting as a parachute:

One of my tuning customer's (jaz TUNING is my business) currently has their car on display at Summit Racing in Georgia. If you're in the near area, check it out! If you're near the Summit Racing store in Georgia, stop in and check out a familiar SHO on display in the front of the store!
  8. I might have some brand new boards for sale, which you can wrap yourself. I have had a few different types/sizes made for me and they should arrive in the mail tomorrow. What I don't use, I can sell off.

The guy who bought my STi a year and a half ago is a huge collector... And a car I built is in it @17:38... That is my old STi.
  10. My La Scalas are sequential and they don't match very well. My non-sequential Heresys are about the same in this regard. I personally wouldn't worry about it.
  11. This has been every truck stop for a very long time. Part of me wants to pull out a bunch of money for this... But I don't. I'd imagine it'll be more difficult for businesses to handle cash vs digital funds, soon. I never carry cash.
  12. Laminate is basically plastic. Remove it carefully, possibly with heat, then veneer them and finish them.
  13. I'm happy to see someone here pick those up! The bones are there, just need a little refinishing work and they'll go another 40 years!
  14. "W" is what you're looking for, which is 1981. Hard to tell from the picture, but it looks like someone might have veneered over them... poorly.

  16. I picked this up to supplement the bass with these speakers. It needs work... Probably have to fix the amp, but I figured I'd make it match the Heresy's.
  17. You need a comma or remove an "o". Period helps as well. 😛
  18. I hate when people put things on concrete without something under to take pictures for sale. I instantly look elsewhere.
  19. Not to get into this debate, but when choosing capacitors and what is best to a personal taste, it is up to the end-user. Hell, I've got an RT-10d that doesn't power on, should I stick with doing it OEM when I repair? 😛
  20. I've got some R-5650-W's for the surrounds for my La Scalas and custom center channel. They do very well, in my opinion.
  21. Look great to me! Mine aren't perfect, and I am going to do new rear panels as one of mine is warped, but I think they look great for something the same age as me!
  22. I will ask the guy if he is okay with that. He may ask you to send one of your originals. I can't answer that.
