  1. I was looking at a lascala on ebay that had adjustment knobs on the crossover. This speaker was used at a church. Is this something from the factory or an add on? If it was factory spec, did they use them on any other speaker? What is the advantage / disadvantage to using this on a crossover? Thanks in advance, Paul
  2. Too bad you are not in Florida, I would definitely be interested. I have been looking for a single Heresy WO for a center but I think a vertical Cornwall would be awesome. Well that's the way it usually goes. To far to drive and shipping seems to be cost prohibitive. Sure would sound good between the Belles with Cornwall rears. I'm kind of surprised that there hasn't been a lot of interest. Good luck. Paul
  3. I also am in the need of a single Heresy. I need a HWO for a center channel. Then my Heritage H.T. will be complete. Well unless I decide to get a sub. And Maybe an upgrade at amp next year. And maybe a couple more Belles, or Cornwalls. This doesn't ever end does it?
  4. After filling my car up on the way to work today a couple of people in a van asked me if I was interested in a Home Theater system. I had just taken a new RX for the first time and not liking my reaction to it. Anyway I told them I knew this scam already. I was so irate my heartrate was sky high. I asked them if they wanted me to call 911. Then the guy on the passenger side told me not to start something I couldn't finish and calling me a bi**h. I was proud of myself for not confronting these people ( I probably would have ended up in trouble). But I was sooo mad I didn't even think to get their liscense plate number. I did call 911 and they left. I wish I could have done more so they don't rip anybody else off. This happened just off of I95 so I'm sure that some unsuspecting person is a few dollars lighter. This whole thing just infuriates me to no end. Sorry for the rant, but I think you guys knew how I felt. Paul
  5. May God grant you a speedy and full recovery. Good luck!
  6. I am interested if the price is right, and I am 1 hour north of W. Palm with cash in hand!
  7. I agree with others on the M.S.F. course. I have been riding since 1976 there are alot of crazies out there. I think Honda 750, or Kawasaki 800 are a decent choice for a first bike. They are plentiful on the used market and not too expensive and you won't have the bug for awhile. I currently ride a Kawasaki Vulcan Nomad 1500 and it has been my favorite bike to date that I have owned. Some people really get caught up in the brand of their bike but it's still the same wind. I have enjoyed riding for may years and have been lucky so far but it is a gamble. One other thought is the m.p.g. on a bike is great. My wife enjoys riding so that also helps. Whatever your decision- good luck!
  8. I'm sorry about your home invasion, that really blows. We had a bullmastiff and a dogue de bordeau that we had to put to sleep last year. Definitely a good deterent. Of the two the dogue was a better watch dog. Both were beautiful and wonderful. I miss them both terribly. We still have a english/american bulldog, and a rat terrier. I try to make them visible as possible. So far no problems. Sorry for your problems.
  9. Welcome back from a newb. What kind of gear are you using now?
  10. Just to be safe I have a weber gas grill and one of their smokers for when I am serious. I always use a chunck of wood when grilling because nothing beats that smoke flavor. Enjoy!!!!!!
  11. SALUTE!!! Thanks and enjoy your time off.
  12. After looking a little deeper than the feedback rating % I see what you are talking about. My humblest apologies. Also I didn't know you were a member of this forum. Good luck!
  13. Is there a some kind of switching device I can use on my cornwalls to go between a vintage amp and and my avr so I can leave them both hooked up? One of these vintage amp is very interesting.
  14. I would be very leary with the feedback rating this seller has.
  15. I have a nice home ready for your cornscalas if you ever get rid of them!
  16. Just saw this on Audio Asylum located in N. Mass.
  17. Well please tell us what you think of the new woofers. I have been contemplating doing the same thing. Is it noticeable and worthwhile upgrade? Thanks for your response in advance.
  18. Captain Beefheart! Man you don't know how long it has been since I have heard anything from them. I think I had an eight track back then. Ooops carbon dating myself again. I guess I'll have to try and find some.
  19. I'm sorry you are forced to sell them. I wish we were closer because I would sure be interested in them. Good luck.
  20. Sounds like you are very ambitious. As well as very busy. I was hoping to get you to recover my C's grills but sounds like your plate is going to be full for awhile. Maybe some other forum member is willing. Is F.P.L. going to put another transformer in just for you? If you need a body sometime let me know. My work schedule is kind of messed up right now so I cannot guarantee anything.
  21. Looks like somebody got a heck of a deal.
