  1. I never thought that I would agree with James Carville, but I do regarding this mess...
  2. I'm not familiar with these speakers, however the grille work is outstanding....
  3. I think they paid about $11 for this one. 75% of $44.95. I don't think I'd pay $11 for it but my dauther seemed exicted. Some more CDs, on May 12th. The Vans Warped Tour and Newboys are for the girls. Flim, Wynton, and Ray are for me. The rest most likely for mother in law or Dad's fiancee though I may decide to keep the Scott Wesley Brown and maybe the Mannheim Steamroller but we have a TON of Christmas CDs. I've heard that Tunnel is a letdown compared to the other Flim and the BBs albums. Hope I find some of the others. And yet some more from May 14, some CDs from the local Goodwill. I was hoping maybe they'd have more Flim and the BBs but no such luck. The Yanni for mother in law unless my wife wants it. Yanni's Live At The Acropolis is actually pretty good. Not heard much else but one's enough for me. The Christmas CDs will probably be given away but may keep if the family wants to. Hey Ben, I think that the Ray Charles cd may be a real find!
  4. Now, if I could only find a WIFE like that!!! (Paul did and her name was Belle) Dennie Well said Dennie. When I brought home my La Scala the wife said "wtf...where are we gonna put these?" Now, we would never let them go. Get the "Belles." Funny, my wife said the same thing....
  5. I agree with Dennie, you will not regret it.
  6. Returned home from Austin, TX yesterday... It was a very prosperous trip. I got a huge raise while I was there. Our family standard of living should greatly improve. Now I'm enjoying an excellent cigar and a good glass of wine.... Geez, I thought my son was never going to graduate from college..... LOL!
  7. You should be pleased... It looks outstanding... Enjoy!
  8. Really a nice effort.... You should be proud.
  9. This looks like a great place to venture down to early this coming fall. Beautiful pictures!
  10. Finally had a chance to see it. Really good!
  11. I picked one up about 6 months ago. I've enjoyed it so much, it would be hard to part with.
  12. If I'm not mistaken the SX-5580 was Pioneer's European version of the SX-1050. A solid unit from Pioneer; nice with the black face plate.

    The Pacific

Anyone care to share their thoughts on this epic series?
  14. Let's us know what you finally decide to get, when the cards are right. On this fine Wednesday night, I'm enjoying a cold glass (or two) of Rose. Got the house to myself for two days and no one to tell me to "turn it down, please." More later....
  15. Mine is into vinyl.... Jazz, mostly...
  16. I'm also curious to hear what you think about the Belles, once you've got them going.
  17. Looks like you did well. Welcome to the group....
  18. I can't make a comparison between the two, however as a Mac guy, I can say that my two 275's paired with my McIntosh XRT18's and a C2200 pre amp is heavenly. Is it 3 minutes to Miller time yet, sorry wrong thread.
  19. I'm sending you an email with the details...
  20. I have a Klipsch KSW 10 for sale, if this interests you. I no longer use it. Boxx...
  21. I'll go to our local BB and on occasion, buy something. I'll check out the TV's there also, but always wind up going to Costco to purchase one.
