Between my sons PA2+ and the xilica I own there is a small difference in sound quality, xilica wins.

I prefer the 1 series over the 2 series. In saying that I don't know what it is about these "Golden Era" decorators with Alnico drivers but I prefer them over the previous 1 series I owned. Like others have said I prefer my 3's over them all.

If you decide you want to give it a try and don't want to buy the mic I can send you mine and you can use it then send it back when your done.

Good xover my son has the newer + version which has a RTA mic to help with setup. Does yours have a spot to plug in a RTA mic? RTA-M

GLWS but really you should keep those Chorus 2's. I spent some time in Edgewood and Aberdeen Proving Grounds back in the early 2000's :)

Hmm that is going to be a tough one. In either case it is a win, win in my opinion. I have not heard the C3 but have heard the C2 and 1 series. I have heard the Forte 3 and thought "how in the heck can all that come from such a small box"? Answer ROY DELGADO that is how. The F3 is one of his babies and I love all of Roy's work especially the pro line of speakers. I think the man hit it out the park with the Forte 3, are the perfect no but what speaker is (except the jubs)? Will it beat some of the pro stuff mentioned above...not to my ears but you didn't ask that so I say F3.

Thank you and yes I agree about the woofs. I plan to add a metal grill (like Andy has done to his "flamed twins") to them at some point to protect them. I'm hoping that the metal grills will mostly hide the grey woofs if not I'll start looking for replacements. These are keepers for sure.

@Alexander if you change your mind not wanting to try and integrated let me know. I may have one for sale soon. I wanted to do the exact same thing so bough one for a good price. I quickly discovered I liked the tube sound even on my pro model KI-396's. I bough one of the Fire Bottle Had Inspire amps to keep long term.

Good find. I really like the new grill cloth on the Khorns and LaScala's, looks like a metal/fabric hybrid of some sort. Would love some of that stuff.

Thinking of getting something to match with some R-15PM's in the exercise room. Wondering if one of these would be better than a Dayton ultimax 10?

Long term report, I'm still loving this sub it has performed flawlessly for a good two years now. I had a chance recently to move this sub into the main living room where I could let it breath. Let's just say that my jaw dropped when I watched Tron legacy. If your on the fence about one of these don't be it is by far the best I have heard for the money. Another shout out to my bud@totalcomfort for building this it puts a smile on my face every time I crank it.

Most of the ones I want to see on the list are close to me while I'm offshore, typical!

@Marvelhow are those p.audio drivers working out? It's my understanding that those were once used as a possible jub driver as well?
