Jeeper, you have done some work to the listening area since my trip to pick up the Belles. I am listening to them right now. The new set-up with the Cornwalls looks cool, I'll bet is sounds great. Enjoy.
What is great after everything settles down the boys will play with the boxes and Christmas wrapping using their imaginations to make things. It is a wonderful age. Merry Christmas.
Sit back and listen to the speakers before you make any modifications. There are lots of personal points of view and good ideas provided by this forum, but don't let yourself get overwhelmed. The goal is to enjoy the music. So step back and listen first.
I have a pair of forte, 2 pairs of forte II along with 2 pairs of Heresy and a pair of Belles. I keep going back to the forte II for my critical listening. Most members have spent a lot of time and money chasing the perfect sound. As indicated by others be patient. There is a good group of folks giving you that advice because we all have been in your place rushing to experience that perfect sound.
Chris, well written. Unfortunately in the world we live the truth of a situation is not tolerated. It has to be distorted to support a position or belief.
I agree with others here, you write very well for an engineer.
