  1. @MetropolisLakeOutfittersYo dude. Grab this
  2. Music 280's. Movies 82ii and 62ii get my vote.
  3. I haven't heard both. But I've heard from most that the rc-7 is superior in every way. Hopefully audyssey helps you out
  4. Yep I like both woods. Black would look best in there. And me personally, I can't stand the look of the copper drivers on cherry wood. Looks cheesy to me. I like them on cherry speakers where the front is black. That's what I'm most excited about the new ones. Looks way better in my opinion.
  5. Ohhhh man. Get a bigger center channel. Quintets will be fine for surrounds. Center is gonna kill your sound in a room that size.
  6. If it sounds good to you that's what matters the most. And get with cory, @MetropolisLakeOutfitters, he is a dealer and can get you in the right sub. I'd go as big as you can fit in your room. To me the 115 is the only one worth considering.
  7. I was almost gonna get excited. But not going to lol.
  8. does anyone have some P-17's that they dont want anymore? i recently sold my 2 channel speakers (cornwalls) and am wanting to replace them with something smaller. i really enjoyed my 17's when i had them. i have tried asking the guy to sell them back to me. he won't. so asking on here and maybe will get lucky.
  9. Well there is no doubt Klipsch is behind in the market with today's movies lfe demands and what some people want (multiple 18" subs). Problem is, in my eyes, pricing. Didn't the rsw-15 originally retail for like 2 grand or more? Your in dangerous territory there as the internet direct brands are into multiple 15-18" drivers and 4000+ watt DEPENDABLE amplifiers. Klipsch first needs to figure out a reputable amp in my opinion. Current ones leave a lot to be desired I feel. Lots of issues with them humming and just not lasting long.
  10. If you don't need that new feature seems like an easy choice to me. You don't need our help, you're on the right track already
  11. Yeah brightness will be your main concern. Outside you will deal with ambient lighting have to have a descent throw to achieve size and you will want the brightness to cover it.
  12. I'm betting they have similar output but something tells me the quality of bass you are getting won't even be close. I've owned the palladium sub. And the sw-112. If it's anything like the 112 well, you'll prolly be selling. But you you never know. And like bill said, if you aren't losing any money, doesn't hurt to try out.
  13. i dont run ultimax. i run stereo integrity 18's. 8 of them in sealed boxes. just like the 4cuft flat pack from parts express
  14. Well shit. Someone just told me about these. Was gonna grab them to try out in my guest room. Guess that's what I get for not getting on the forum as much anymore.
  15. Just so you know, most places that are selling for 450 new includes free shipping and a warranty. Shipping one of those at 400 probably puts you over new and warranty does not transfer at all. Just a heads up. Are you not within a return period from wherver you bought them?
  16. You also could have had them out of phase being front and back. Did you try phase change in back to get the most bass at the main seat
  17. Me personally I'd get the 61's with a 62 center. Can find great deals right now. If you wanna go towers the. There are deals all over for 82's also. If you wanna go new RP stuff hit up @MetropolisLakeOutfitters For a package deal possibly.
  18. If he does get it and you would still like a sacd player I have a HK dvd47 hanging out not in use.
  19. Speaking of which how you like them things? Feel free to message me so we don't get sidetracked here.
  20. I used to have this except rs-41 instead. Was a sweet little setup. Do you have a sub? And did you buy those new?
  21. ShifterS? As in a pair? You just went to the top my friend. I have only ever heard one and it was pretty intense. All my buddies have heard pairs of them at a big G2G somewhere and said it was insane what two of those can do.
  22. I've heard a lots of horn loaded subs including a lp-tht and I just wasn't as impressed as you always make it sound like I'm gonna be. But who knows maybe it wasn't built perfect. I tell myself it was considering the guy that built it builds horns for tons of people on AVS. Very good sub builder.
  23. Yeah if you have rp everything else snag the 260's. Mismatching front three is never advised
