  1. One Square magnet and the other is round. The square one has a little cone damage but still plays. $100 shipped for both, $60 each if separate or shoot me an offer.
  2. I had a pair of Scalas that had been stained walnut but left the doghouses raw. It made a nice contrast. but those in Bakersfield are just plain ugly.
  3. If you want to user sonicaps have you looked HERE sonic craft has all of those values.
  4. Check for air leaks from around the woofer and passive. I had an issue with a passive in which the rubber surround came loose from the stamped metal frame. Hard to see bit easily found by pushing gently on the woofer and feeling for leaks around the passive and then pushing on the passive and checking around the woofer.
  5. I'm not in the south but I have a pair of 1978 with laser badges that I would break up.
  6. I wont be getting one until they release a windowless model.
  7. I had a woofer cone crack on a forte 1. Luckily it was still under warranty. Learned a valuable lesson... be sure the volume knob is in the same room as the speakers.

    Happy 4/20!

That day is tainted by the fact that is Hitlers B-day, for that reason I choose not to celebrate.
  9. The oem tv speaker really sucks and I don't always want to turn on the stereo for the tv, and the price seems reasonable enough. The tv remote has enough range and controls the headphone jack. I have some fortes hooked up directly but needs more volume and some bass wouldn't hurt either.
  10. Has anyone tried one of these? https://www.parts-express.com/lepai-lp-2020ti-digital-hi-fi-audio-mini-amplifier-with-power-supply--310-3000
  11. That's awesome, Khorns in a machine shop. Here is how I mounted Kp-301s on the ceiling. I used 1/4-20 all-thread to clamp the speakers in.
  12. No affil,. they look nice https://dayton.craigslist.org/ele/6059874066.html 1950's corner loaded speaker designed by Paul Klipsch. Have not used them in several years. I have owned them since 1969. No more room for them. $100.00 cash. gone
  13. The decorators didn't come with grills. I have some H1s that I have been thinking of parting out because of rough cabs, missing badge and the woofers don't match. However they do have the solder lug k55vs. and alnico tweeters. PM me if interested.
  14. Its listed on craigs as well https://toledo.craigslist.org/ele/6051133341.html
  15. This could explain why my serial numbers are so misaligned
  16. The k24 woof was used in the H2, Tangent 400 & 500 and maybe others. I have been in contact with him, the tags are missing on the back. He thinks they are walnut that someone stained darker.
  17. I have at least one pair of k-76 tweets to let go of. Do you want phenolic or titanium diaphragms?
  18. It doesn't appear to be 9 count plywood.

    Kp 301

Location influences the price somewhat. These are not mine. The ad has been up for quite a while and the seller updates it regularly. https://cleveland.craigslist.org/msg/5974814315.html klipsch pa for sale...2-kp-301 top cabs and 2-kp480 sw ;.....650.00 or Make Offer for all
  20. BassKing825, you say you picked up some used Heresy cabinets. Are they empty and need drivers or the woofers blown and looking for replacements? Heresys by themselves wont reach down to where subwoofers play.
  21. If you have shim stock about .01 to .015" and can roll a cylinder to fit the shaft you might be able to work it under the fingers,
  22. If you have some romex could you flatten out pieces on an anvil to reach a reasonable thickness?
  23. If you can lift them individually would it be possible to insert a shim to keep each finger from reseating?
  24. Looks like Walnut and if the laser badges are original it would put them around 1978.
