  1. The bottom of the Klipschorns will accommodate those heaters, no problem! The bottoms have reliefs greater than what you are describing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. eBay occasionally has the unobtanium you seek, but in knock off form. Genuine badges are much harder to find in my experience. Or, buy the grills with badges listed below your post. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Indeed I am! It's called sarcasm by some lol. I joked because of the ridiculous prices sellers are asking on eBay for any original Klipsch badges. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Can't see the FB post. Maybe screen shot the ad and post it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  8. Arn't those Laser Badges worth about $400 a piece? 😎 I'd be all over them if they were local.

  10. Are these for sale? Price? Link to ad? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I'm with you here. Only do what I'm told (when i know my limitations and someone else is being paid to be the expert). Where does Deang get his crossover schematics? Is this another ALK copycat or original? If original, where's the science? Links? Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I'm intrigued, but confused. What is the felt on the outside doing? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    What I Got Today!

I run Klipsch SW-8's (one L, one R) on my main 2-ch system (Klipschorns, Cornwalls, and Heresys). I plugged the HGS-18 into the L for testing. Impressions: Good Lord this thing goes LOW. It integrates nicely and with a little adjustment I was able to make it merge with the music becoming an extension versus just having boomy bass. I hope that makes sense? I have not decided if it's going to remain with my 2-ch system (replacing both SW-8's) or if it is going with my newly configured home theater system (in process of reconfiguring). I need more time with it, but so far it seems very musical. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  16. These look beautiful. Please, please, please wrap and protect them before moving and loading them. Good luck with the sale. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Have you called support? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Ah, nice. I didn't follow that the one on the left was redone. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Have you tried updating the firmware? Is it brand new? Call Klipsch support? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I've been using these. Look similar to the Nakamichi ones mentioned. I'm happy with them. 2 screws to hold wire in place. 21. I'm familiar. Are you familiar with the decorator vertical Cornwall II? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. To be clear, the marine wire I mention is not copper clad, but copper stranding that is tinned. West Marine has a 50% off sale going on right now. Ancor brand. Looks to be nice stuff to me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I have read some similar opinions, but also have read it's highly NOT recommend (which I follow). I'm not interested in solid core. That being said, what's the word on marine grade type 3 tinned copper strand for speaker wire runs (especially to outside speakers)? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Nice. I'd be happy to find or be offered one (for a reasonable price). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Bob Crites has it right. They are the original Cornwall II's with vertical horns. A bit confusing, but not the later II's as mentioned. I have a similar pair. Go with Mr. Crites' recommendations. And good luck with the refinish project! Please keep us updated with your progress! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
