I googled TVIX when it was first mentioned on here. I have so little in the market, enough to buy an entry level car, manual shift, lol, that I left my highly conservative “portfolio” (lmao) as is. But I do have an untapped line of credit. Never even occurred to me to run it up on TVIX. I would have been able to pay off my mortgage and then some had I tapped it out... What is it they say about hindsight?

Holy cow, insomnia is the REAL pandemic! I am on my Zopiclone phase right now too. Wanted something that wouldn’t hold me back in the morning. This stuff just vanishes favourably in my system. Turns out I wake up in four hours anyway. I don’t have a problem falling asleep, I have a problem STAYING asleep. Five hours a night is golden. Years ago I had Seroquel prescribed. Now that was magic. If you are a morning person you wake up with a smile on your face! If you’re not, you can’t get out of bed, lol. Unfortunately there are some health risks associated with it now so my family doctor won’t pen it.

The farther your speakers come out from the back wall and past any other items beside them the further back your imaging will go. It is quite something the first time that hits you! I found out by fluke one day after I had pulled my speakers out to vacuum behind them. Sat down for a quick music break and THEN I remembered other forum members telling me that in other posts, lol.

I believe this is a knock off of an EV horn (that has a striking resemblance to TAD horn) that has a 600 hz cutoff but could probably do 500 with a steep slope. One member here does 400hz with a 48db active crossover (I think). You would still need a tweeter. Hey, your the dude with awesome CP-1 restoration! Did you get the K-55s up in Owen Sound?! I think negligent may be a better word. We are fast running out of people who are not negligent. Negligence is doing something a reasonable person would not do, or not doing something a reasonable person would. Any citizen that does not question or qualify, to some degree, the source, validity, and motive of ANY media article is negligent. Propaganda is a powerful tool. Having said that, if COVID-19 does turn out to be a red herring allowing the ban of all imports from China, where will I score my fentanyl from?!

This “threat” could provide legal grounds to throw any international trade agreements out the window. Made In America would be the only option. Or trade with select nations only. So much for China’s bid to be the world’s leading currency. A convenient economic warfare tactic.

I just recently brought a pair of these home. Been in rotation a few weeks now non-stop. I’ve had Cornwalls and Chorus 2s for years, think these are my new favourite. Like a bigger better Heresy. They go way lower than spec’d and respond REALLY well to tone controls/EQ. Imaging is impressive too. And they don’t need to be cranked to do it, but man, the pro crossover is smooooth dialed up! I have heard definition on drums I have never heard before. Must be the K-48! At 200 bucks, I think with shipping they would still be a bargain at twice the price. Oh, I drove 10 hours round trip for mine and have NO regrets. Gentlemen, start your engines!

Yorkville is the Canadian equivalent of Peavey or Traynor. Solid and reliable. My main concern, if this venue is north of the border, is whether or not there is adequate ventilation for the byproducts from the intermission pastime! I can’t walk the streets of The 6ix without getting a contact high from passersby... ...now where did I put my munchies?

There is a LOT of good information I stumble across in these archives and I don’t always remember where to look later. I was also on a device that would not allow me to “follow” the thread. Easy fix is a post, check posts when I get home, and follow... if I remember.
