they have been basically around 300.00 give or take 50.00. I do package them with foam and a custom made box, securely packaged and put on a crate for freight shipment. You can order whatever veneer i can get a hold of all the way from alder to zebra. you can stain them, oil them, whatever you want. I usually always use the klipsch grill covers...(khorn)

This is totally unethical in my book regardless of how much he is charging for them.

How can someone use the design of a commercial product and manufacture them for selling. He is not the one who spent countless hours designing and testing them. When the design was made public, this was not the intended purpose.

The socialist party is alive and well.... How dare Dodge and Chevrolet copy Ford Motor Company and make another car. How dare them. Dude, we are in America. If i wanna make a close copy of some item... whether it be a car, airplane, helicopter, or speaker... i think this country allows me to. Thanks... and have a nice day!

You can make a close copy, but in America you can't sell it. That's called a "knockoff", and it can get you into deep, deep trouble.

Those are truely beautiful speakers, congratulations on your build talents! I bet they sound great as well. I wish I could build something as nice as that, however I will have to live with my k-horns for the time being. Regards, Tony

This is exactly why I didn't even try to get a patent on my unique Super-Insulated framing system I developed years ago. I knew that someone out there would only have to make slight changes, or no changes at all and it would be up to me to spend the money to litigate. I knew I wasn't going to build enough homes to make it worthwhile. My approach was to keep it quiet and in-house, even turning down interviews and requests for stories in top trade magazines.

For what it's worth, just because something isn't illegal doesn't mean it's right....and this is only a comment on the logic of the argument, not the argument itself.

True but some folks here like myself can't afford new Klipsch speakers . I could not afford to buy the 5 Belles that I am using or the 6 Heresies that I used in the past new . I'm not ashamed to say that the only Klipsch speakers I have purchased new were KG1.2's and they were demo's at a significantly reduced price . The build quality and the price he is offering them at is appealing . A means to an end so to speak .

So let me get this straight: The "end" (you obtaining something that you otherwise could not afford) justifies the "means" (counterfeiting) exactly how? You could print some counterfeit $100 bills on your color laser printer and use them to purchase the genuine article -- that's a means to an end, too. How is that any different?

If Klipsch could patent or copyright the Jubilee bass bin design or construction process, I am sure they would. Let them worry about infringement.

Is it illegal or immoral to make and offer a product for less? Didn’t PWK help the guy who made the Khorn clones? Was Henry Ford wrong to combining the engine and carriage trades into one production line?

Beautiful work. Fantastic value. Would love to see those topped with Greg Roberts horns and ALK crossovers.

Would love to see a ¾ size and also a triple driver model…
