Gilbert
My old (1998) Bimmer gets 28/24 mpg on the highway/city, respectively. My pick-up is another story. The article addresses mileage std's (pulled from thin air) targeted for future vehicles,... but we knew this already. http://enr.construction.com/yb/enr/article.aspx?story_id=161864361

Mighty Favog
When I bought my 2.0-liter 94' Eagle Talon ES (non-turbo) new the window sticker said it would get 27mpg highway. After about $700 worth of modifications it would regularly get 40mpg YES 40!! Nine years and 90k/mi. later I sold it to a friend who would consistantly do 120-130mph on the highways around here (never got caught) until it broke a valve rocker at 192k. All right Detroit...come talk to me.

JJkizak
The newspaper today said the manufacturers are all jumping to supercharging for small engines because they can get more power instantly. JJK
Groomlakearea51
Actually, I'm ready!! 20 miles per gallon of water, free "fuel" along the way to town. Get's up to about 5 miles per hour and can top out at about 20 mph for 5 -10 minutes at a time. Parking can be an issue, but there's some nice spots at the end of the supermarket parking lot. Got a couple of them so I can make it a family outing.....

Moderators dtel Posted August 4, 2011 Moderators Share Posted August 4, 2011 Emissions may be an issue though Yes it's great for a garden, the solid emissions anyway but don't be setting in that cart and light your cigar during the other emissions!
