WHAT THE FU$K!!!

I need to lay off the weed, that CAN'T be real!

OK, is there another computer geek on here that finds this as wierd as I do?

It's cool, but it should not be built onto the MB itself.

HOWEVER, that is WAY cool and I would take it in a heartbeat. TUBES ON A MOTHERBOARD!!! OMG!!!

Receiver: Sony STR-DE675

CD player: Sony CDP-CX300

Turntable: Technics SL-J3 with Audio-Technica TR485U

Speakers: JBL HLS-610

Subwoofer: JBL 4648A-8

Sub amp: Parts Express 180 watt

Center/surrounds: Teac 3-way bookshelfs

Yes, it sucks, but better to come. KLIPSCH soon! My computer is better than my stereo!

Too bad they didnt use Jensen or Audio Note Copper Foil Paper in Oils... heh

I blatently rounded up (saveas.com) the info on it and posted pics and all on one page. Once again, being up at 4am does not help

Let's hope tomshardware.com reviews it soon. They get pretty thorough. I did a search and only came up with two sites in languages I couldn't even recognize. Went anyway hoping to at least be able to spot "24/96." No luck. If the specs are good, and it supports 24/96, and costs 500.00 or less, this may well be the path to a good quality CD player for the budget conscious. As a homebrew computer geek, it certainly has my attention. I do not have a Dolby Digital decoder, either (Soundblaster Live software does an adequate job of making Dolby ProLogic out of DVDs), so that would be an added benefit.

Of course, that's a bunch of ifs. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Thanks for the corrected links and search results!

Dave

Not to mention anything about microphonics from vibrations. One might need to go to a military tube(7308) for this one.

He he now you are talking a tube MOBO! Great stuff, its not like it will replace my Audio Research tube preamp anytime but still fun,I will get this board as soon as its out.Wonder if I can order a Audio Note "Silver" PSU to power the PC.And maybe upgrade the caps to Solen,a tube change may improve sound further. LOL

With half a dozen Delta fans it should be very musical. cwm3.gif
