Scrappydue
I think it's just a tad awkward having son many pics on here already lol, but hey we asked for em right. I am a hobby photographer and I live scenic stuff. Shot a lot when I lived in San Diego. Wish I had been more into it when I lived in Japan and was always on deployments on aircraft carriers. I think some of your scenic stuff would be awesome.
WakeJunkie
I think it's just a tad awkward having son many pics on here already lol, but hey we asked for em right. Might be a tad akward, but that's just me. That answered the question. Thanks. That's why I asked. I love the idea of the portrait gallery of some of my favorite shots, but if it is awkward then landscape shots are a better fit. I pulled the pics. That being said, I wouldn't turn down an opportunity to hang out at your place regardless of the wall coverings. If you are ever in North Alabama area message me. You are more than welcome. Scrappydue
Hey wake, how do you like your 8350? I love mine. It's a steal for 899$.
WakeJunkie
Hey wake, how do you like your 8350? I love mine. It's a steal for 899$. I love the 8350. Excellent brightness, contrast, black levels.... Even on a 130" silver spandex screen it has the lumens to keep it beautiful. I am impressed. WakeJunkie
I am happy to finally have the forums back up! I am stoked about what has progressed while we were all away. I sold my RF-3ii's, RC-3ii, and S-1's. My new toys are sitting at Youthman's house waiting for me to pick them up in a couple weeks. Here is what the new system looks like...Drum Roll Please! RF-7ii's (front) RC-7 (center) RS-35's (Side) RS-35's (rear) Whoo Hoo! Finally got some big boy toys. RF-7ii's are part of this amazing find by Youthman:
WakeJunkie
My only real concern is my receiver. Denon AVR791. Can it really handle this system? Rated at 90Wx7. NO pre-OUTS....I know....I know....what was I thinking? I would love to hear from someone with this or comparable receiver running a pair of 7's or 7ii's AND 7 speakers to know if it has the typical power drop associated with adding all 7 speakers to the system. Sancho Panza
If it won't, maybe we can work out a deal to swap it for my 3311? I think it will, but would want to add an amp for the L-C-R.

Absolutely! Sancho, you are 5 hours away so it is a bit more than a short drive. If you are ever heading towards Chattanooga or Gatlinburg let me know, I am on the way. I would love to meet you. WakeJunkie
Finally trimmed out the rack and got the grill on the sub tonight. I built the air vent a couple weeks ago, but by the time I took a picture the forums were down...
Moderators Youthman Posted October 24, 2013 Moderators Share Posted October 24, 2013 Looks great. Too bad it only took you 6 months to do the trim. I can't seem to find those RF-7ii's I was holding for you.....
WakeJunkie
Thanks, I did build a fireplace during that time ;-) Still...about 2 months on the trim and air vent. That's cool about the speakers. I will be just as happy with your set if you can't find mine.

WakeJunkie
Thanks guys, Finally getting the details wrapped up on the fireplace. Built a blower for the fireplace out of parts pulled from a microwave and started on routing out the custom faceplates for the rack. Will be posting pics of that soon. Moderators Youthman Posted November 2, 2013 Moderators Share Posted November 2, 2013 What Wake (aka McGyver) hasn't shown you is one of the stones on the fireplace is a trigger to open the secret door that leads to the famous Dark Knight HT. That was a secret Bro...and yes...that is my Theater. I built it entirely out of Drywall mud and newspaper to save money. Don't expect me to let you drive the Tumbler after ratting me out like that.
