This is the Oakland / Alameda estuary so it is much calmer all the time than the bay. Ferry goes from SF to Alameda and Jack London Square in Oakland. We were the visitors there tonight. They've installed new lighting since last year and it is so much better. I took those photos at 1/1000th of a sec shutter speed to get those crisper shots.
