johnnydrama
Over half off on a nice receiver. Be careful though, comes with no warranty. I may jump on one of these if they are still available come this weekend. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16882117433 Edited January 21, 2014 by johnnydrama
TasDom
I picked this up in October for 599.00 from Newegg for my son's Xmas gift. Still a great price at the current sale and it's a great AVR!

Sancho Panza
He could look into buying a Square Trade Warranty, maybe?
jason str
Is this not the reason most buy new products, to get a worry free warranty ? No warranty = FAIL

Schu
what is class d3?
Quiet_Hollow
It's a chip amp topology designator rather than an amplifier "class". Digital, 3rd Generation.
Schu
that's weird, because they call it class D3... class D has nothing to do with digital. so I wonder what class Amp this is? Edited January 22, 2014 by Schu
Budman
read all about it http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Class-D_amplifier

CHASLS2
Is this not the reason most buy new products, to get a worry free warranty ? No warranty = FAIL I found out the hard way. My SC35 went out after 14 months and no warranty from Amazon.com.
tromprof
that's weird, because they call it class D3... class D has nothing to do with digital. so I wonder what class Amp this is? It is my understanding that Pioneer first started out in class D using B&O Ice Power amps, and then designed their own version. It is class D, but they are trying to make it sound fancy so they called it "D3." Regardless, it sounds very good.
fuzzydog
All the specs say that this is a 7.2 receiver, but if you look at the pictures there are connections for 9.2. Which is it?
