I have a 67 year old brother than can still hit it pretty hard for work. WillyBob
I'm surrounded.... the cows are in town. Open range. If you don't want them on your property ... simple. Fence them out. In return, we don't need permits to fence. Cows, coyotes and now these bloody woodpeckers. They have teched up. We don't hammer on poles/trees for territorial purposes. We have discovered sat tv dishes are better[?]. More irritating. Barn swallows are nesting in the porch - again. Interesting how they ended up there. it all started with sparrows getting a nest hung on a run of romex ... Somewhere along the way, the nest was "abandoned" and the swallows plastered it over. Frank, my other "kitten", has moved on to more challenging prey. He spent last season working on how to get the swallows off the ceiling of the porch. Studied long and hard... home on da range 1

WillyBob
was looking into drivers for the MWM's, is the K-43 [?] still considered the standard?
Moderators dtel Posted May 26, 2018 Moderators Share Posted May 26, 2018 The K 43 was used for high power, I used a copy of the K 33, I got 4 from Bob Crites, it's a cast frame driver and a tiny bit of the outside edge on 2 sides need to be ground or sanded off for it to fit, just the outside frame. The K 43's can sometimes hard to find and usually a good bit more expensive than a K 33. A member here ClaudeJ1 tested both the K 43 and the K 33 and the 33 went a tiny bit lower but was slightly less able to take the higher power of the 43. I think they were originally designed with the 33 but changed to the 43 for less chance of a problem if someone really pushed them. Coytee might have some experience with drivers ? For high power maby just a inline fuse may be a good idea, others can help with this better than me.

DizRotus
Good Sunday morning. Looks like the weather in Indy for the 500 will be hot and sunny, same as here in Motown. I’ll record the race while listening on the radio outside performing experiments on my HIPs. See:
