I know I complain about the cold, but I like the snow. It seems to hide a lot of ugliness, everything looks clean and fresh. I wish we would have the snow without all the cold. I hope to have a couple retirement homes some day....one in Wisconsin (snowmobile capital of the world) and one around San Antonio Texas (wife is from Texas, my daughter is in school there) Boats and Jet Skis are fun Dirtbikes and quads are exhilerating Racing Karts are extreme fun Racing a motorcycle is a blast But NOTHING is as much fun as riding a snowmobile 😀 this more fun than snowmobiling rode a snowhawk 12-13 years ago... snowmobilers would stop ... right in the trail.. and could not figure out.. what we were riding....

Those 4 strokers sound funny out in the snow. The four stroke sleds are pretty tame, but they're getting better power lately. For some reason, I can't picture four stroke sleds only.

Moderators dtel Posted November 15, 2018 Moderators Share Posted November 15, 2018 That does look like me, I have never ridden one, but I would rather have an hour with her than 20K miles on a snowmobile.

JohnJ
Cool half-tracks @dirtmudd 6:15 Woke up to the pc UPS beeping then heard the explosion that anyone knows is electrical and bigger than just a transformer. 9:50 Power's back on, I give it five minutes before I power up the furnace, set the clocks, plug in the UPS and start the pc/wi-fi. 10:15 am let me translate.......... FOUR (&$@ing HOURS LATE !!!! It's happening! The best way to make coffee . period Still gotta have electrons if you don't keep pre-ground coffee. Preheat the maker with hot water then put it in the thermos. Throw grinds then hot water into the EvaSolo. Then 1 min to bloom, break it, 3min steep and put it in the thermos. Hot tea at 6am doesn't cut it. 2

JohnJ
Hey @dirtmudd We had one of those Movies & Suds whatever it was called here thirty years ago. Nachos, Grinders, fried mushrooms, beer, mixed drinks and the tables were below the level of the screen so it worked. Great place to go if you were on the hunt.
