I am putting my CF-4s Version 1s in cherry finish up for sale. The speakers sound great, condition wise their is some minor wear to the cabinets, one of the badges is missing, the grills are perfect. 5 inch ports with the gray horn. Consecutive serial #s, sorry the second picture didn't turn out. I need to turn these so I can buy Gorm's RF-7s and RC-7
I'm located about an hour north of Chicago, if you have any questions or need more photos, shoot me a PM. Shipping quotes have been about impossible to get so local pickup is preferred

I need to move these CF-4s by Monday, so I will reduce the price to $800 plus shipping

For 800$ i think is a great price for all this speaker. With good clean power these speakers sound amazing. Someone should give these a chance, worst case can be resold and money can be had back. GLWS

I recently shipped a couple of 50 pound speakers 2,000 miles via UPS, all packing and materials were mine, and it cost $125 for the pair.

This last weekend I bi-amped my CF-4's.  They could already pound you with mid-range thump, but the bi-amping seemed to really accent the lower end and clarify the mid-lows (think trombones, baritones).

I know a lot of people don't believe in passive bi-amping, and frankly I made some other changes (went from 5.1 to 3.0) but I can assure you at the very least, it changes the color of the sound, at least in this one case.

You can ship these fed ex ground (I think).  Measure them and add 4" in all directions, add 7 lbs or so to the weight and try the calculator.

If it works, go to the home depot and buy some 2" styrofoam sheets, cut to size to completely surrround the speakers and then get cardboard and make a box around them.  Use lots of heavy tape and these will be very safe.  The only risk is if they lose one.

I understand you had a solid CL offer at $150.  I'll go $160?  Except I only have half of that right now.  Take it or leave it.

LOL.  I figured this was a better way to bump your ad.   :D

How do we know these are actually his speakers and he didn't get the pictures from a craigslist ad????????
