Palladiums and McIntosh

Looking to head in different (and less expensive) directions in terms of audio and other areas of life. I have decided to part with my 2 channel system consisting of Palladium P39F speakers, McIntosh C2500 Tube Preamplifier and McIntosh MC275 (Series VI) Tube Amplifier. I have original packaging for everything and everything is in excellent condition. I am doing more than gauging interest as I am committed to doing this, however as always I am going to have to carve out time to take photographs and post them. Suffice it to say that everything looks like the stock photos available on the internet but I will indeed post actual photos. I will create separate listings when I get the pictures ready but for now I will list as follows:

(1) pair Palladium P39F, natural finish.............$8,500  SOLD

(1) McIntosh C2500 Tube Preamp...................$4,500

(1) McIntosh MC275 VI Tube Amplifier............$4,250

Thanks,

Billy

I'm going to freshen up a very nice pair of Cornwalls that I already own and run them with some sort of sweet low powered tube integrated. There's too much money sitting idle (most days) in my living room!!!

Perfect... well sorted CW's can be spectacular.

As I remember correctly, you got a smoking deal on thos palladiums???

$20,000 speakers for $8,500 seems like a smoking deal to me.

I purchased my center LaScala from Billy.  He went WAY above and beyond to help me get it.  Would not hesitate to buy from him again.  Best wishes with your sale Billy.  You have some incredible gear there.

Thanks for the kind words Billy.  If anyone is thinking about buying Billy's amp or preamp, he is a very trustworthy and nice guy.  Him and his wife were very accommodating, letting me come the same day and stay until 10pm listening.

I heard the amp and preamp and they were silky smooth, even driving the P-39f's!  No doubt they'd be a great combo for any of the heritage speakers.  Too bad I didn't have the funds to buy them... Billy wiped me out on the other purchase I made!

ATI AT2007:  http://www.ati-amp.com/at2000.php

It's made in the US and very clean sounding.  It provides ample power even at low impedance, but has very low distortion at low power too.

I originally got it to drive my RF-83's before I bought a used pair of LS II's.  In retrospect, had I known the speakers I'd end up with I'd have sprung for the ATI AT3007.  I think the AT2007 has plenty of power though considering a HT secrets review says a tube amp would work!  The bass I'm hearing is simply incredible, as is the imaging and mid-range.  These speakers have everything that I love about the LS II's, but with more mid-range detail and bass.

Absolutely perfect sounding after running audyssey pro (I don't have room treatments like I should).  The only thing I've heard that is comparable is the K-402 with the TAD 4002 drivers; they had a beautifully silk mid-range and unbelievable detail too.  However those TAD drivers are $3499 a piece now and hard to find.  Unfortunately, I have no room for K-402 horns on top my bass bins right now any ways :(

Congrats on the P39s….what are you driving them with?

I've heard of them but never heard them. I'll bet that combo sounds spectacular. How does it compare to the McIntosh amp that Billy had them hooked up to?

Does anybody know why the P39s are sold as a left and right speaker, separate listing?
