kapsnb01
Looking forward to it. Sounds like Disney is adding Star Wars theme parks to both Disneyland & World too...

akdave
I am very excited! After the prequel three, my expectations are so low, but the lineup that's directing, the return of some originals, use of more real props (Less dependence on CG) and the lack of Lucas directly on this one has got me pretty fired up! A favorite quote I read this week: "This year, I will have two advent calendars." Falalalala, lala, la, la!

MKP :-) My uncle took me and my brother... Definitely a memorable experience at the old GCC NorthPark 1 & 2 here in Dallas. Two of the biggest and best screens in the country at the time. http://cinematreasures.org/theaters/11628

JJkizak
The first Star Wars movie was one of the "movers" that took the whole country out of the monetary doldrums which started in the early 70's with the oil cartels increasing the price of oil. oldtimer
Because the fed started tightening which eventually broke inflation expectations by 1982? Didn't realize a movie had so much impact.
akdave
Because the fed started tightening which eventually broke inflation expectations by 1982? Didn't realize a movie had so much impact. The ability to take a country out of the monetary doldrums of the early 70's is insignificant next to the power of the Force. You underestimate the power of the Dark Side. **Hoooo Pahhhh** (best effort at typing out a Darth Vader breath...)
