richieb
How many of you out there are totally content with your systems? I mean really satisfied to the point that other than a total revamp, your system sounds so right to you. Or must you always tinker hoping to find virvana but alas, it is never found. Or must you change out gear just for change sake. Put me down as contented. Rich
Audio Flynn
My Chorus II; I cannot imagine changing to another speaker. In the medium term I am very satisfied with current 2 channle system; another cartridge perhaps. Would like to try a Shelter or Dynavector cart. For a really signifant upgrade it would take 2000 USD for either a new digital front end, or Blueberry or VRDs. Too many husbandly and fatherly responsibities to afford getting a higher performing component without many months to save up. So I just gotta be cool and enjoy the music. TBrennan
My main hi-fi is just right, I won't change a thing. I'll fuss around with my other hi-fis though.
Stovebolt6
Tom, What do you have as your main hi-fi now? Dan
Deang
With the exception of adding a pair of Craig's amps into the mix -- I'm done. I'm due for a source upgrade, but I'm not stressing over it.
Seadog
Every time I say "I'm done", my wife says, "Yeah, right!" while giving me that "you are such a liar" look.

Piranha
A Denon 3910 (SACDMods.com) or similar, a Basis TT, a nice tonearm, a cart and I am done. (for now anyway [])
jazman
The core of my system is DONE. What is left are refinements. 1. Currently waiting on my already ordered outboard flywheel for my Aries Turntable to arrive. 2. Future upgrade of my tonearm to a JMW 10.6. 3. Symposium Isolation platlform for the Aries turntable. Vinyl rules! Klipsch out.
TBrennan
Stovebolt----My main rig is very simple----1961 Heathkit AS-21s (Altec 9844s in furniture cabinets, dual 414s and an 806 on the 811B) a Jolida 110 integrated amp and a Sony DVD player. I have another rig with 605As driven by either a DIY gainclone or a Teac 700 T-amp and a Sony DVD player. My HT uses a Denon HT receiver driving Altec 890C Boleros with KRK ST-6 surrounds. Sources are a Sony DVD player and a Pioneer CLD 704 laser player. TV is a 55" Sony LCD rear projector. I'd love to hear how those 515Es do in a vented box. I'm VERY keen on 515s, my old A5 system used the 515Bs and had as good upper bass and lower mids as I ever heard.

Daddy Dee
I'm pretty happy with mine. I've spent waaay too much time and energy making it better. Mostly I just enjoy it now.
nicholtl
I pretty much agree with what everyone says. I'm happy with mine, and will enjoy it for years to come...but I'll never be done. There are just too many options out there to ever put a period at the end of the statement.
colterphoto1
It's gotten to the point where I just collect stuff and don't even plug it in. Fact is, I probably only listen/watch to my main system about 5 hours a week, secondary systems less than that. About to just sell it all, could probably use the money. Michael I heard there was this company, "Bose", I think, that makes this tabletop stereo. It's plastic, ugly, expensive, but you get full range sound out of 2 2.5" speakers that fill the room........[:#]

dubai2000
The basics have been done, but.......simple curiosity remains. I guess my next purchase will be a Denon 103R, after all my 3012-R is meant to be an excellent choice for this cart. Plus my Heresy wouldn't mind a sub.....but the latest SVS true mini sub is still in the pipeline []. Wolfram
arfandbark
Just bought a JVC kaboom box for our VFW post. Chances are that'll please 99% of the people 99% of the time. I hate being part of the 1%.... WOOF!
Allan Songer
Same major components for the last 15 years. Only major change was a new CD player five years ago.
Khorn
Very satisfied with my system as is. Only forseeable change would be if source software changes eg: fabulous new format introduced that was so much better it would be a "must have". Right now I'm concentrating on buying new (to me) music specially on SACD.
