Jay481985
if you ever heard of ashlee simpson, jessica's younger, she has a song la-la I think.... I would not play it for my worst of enemies. Also she cannot sing since she lip synced and got caught on SNL. Her excuse was heartburn from the previous day. Maybe stop being belimic and you will not have heartburn. rplace
While I ponder the worst song. Check out the 10 worst album covers. Very funny stuff http://porktornado.diaryland.com/albumcover.html EDIT: It did not take me long. "Ben" by Michael Jackson http://www.lyrics007.com/Michael%20Jackson%20Lyrics/Ben%20Lyrics.html My sister would play this on the piano and sing it for hours one end in the mid to late 70s. Gagging as I type.
garymd
How about Hanson's huge hit, MMMBop. I suppose there are worse but this song is like fingernails on a chalkboard to me.

oldbuckster
oldbuckster: YOU BLASPHEME!!! didn't you at least like the drum solo? I second one post above on MacArthur Park.... that song is so bad, the system won't even let me paste in the lyrics gaaaaaag a maaaagot There was a shortened version of that horrible song, with NO drum solo, shortened enough to play on the radio. Forgive Daddy Dee.... Blaspheme is my middle name!!

J.4knee
Nope my vote goes to the song with the "Action" in it: "I Love the Nightlife" from the seventies disco era, thank God I cannot remember who sang that pieceocrap.
JJkizak
Tiny Tim "tiptoe through the tulips" "star spangled banner" (national anthem) The worst, most terrible song that was ever written period. If I was President that song goes out the door and a new one comes in. JJK

Alicia Bridges--my mom LOVED that song. She played the 45 over and over. I loved it as a kid just because she did, but those days are long gone []

RichardP
Does anybody remember the song/music video ridiculed in a Beavis and Butthead episode, I think it was by the band Ween, and the lyrics went "push the little daisies and make them come up" sung in a falsetto voice? One of the most bizarre I have ever heard. Ween also appeared in the SNL spinoff movie "It's Pat," and they were shown performing a song about a sandwich.
