colterphoto1
My buddy and yours, southern gentleman and all-around good guy 'Forte King' Dtel, is undergoing surgery as I type this. I just spoke with Christy and he's been feeling poorly the last few days. If you wondered why he wasn't even on the Forum for a while it's because he's been hurting. Tough guy that he is he claimed he was only 'one good turd from feeling ok' and ate all the laxatives in southern Mississippi to remedy the situation. Well today he had to ask Christy to get his shoes and put them on him for a trip to the hospital. So he's having his appendix out this evening. No details at this point but I just wanted to ask for prayers and positive vibes on behalf of Dtel and his family. They're all a bit concerned naturally, but I recounted my own fairly recent hospital visit for the same reason and they seem to be a bit more upbeat hearing that experience. Christy will call me with updates which I'll post right away. He's a good brother, lets send him some help! Peace, Michael
Moderators Travis In Austin Posted February 13, 2007 Moderators Share Posted February 13, 2007 Well, I am sure hoping this is just a minor thing and Dtel pulls through quick and easy. Travis

Klipsched with Yamahas
My blessings for a quick and healthy recovery.....of course, he could have ended up like my friend Monday last. Goes in for a cath, and ends up hospitalized Wednesday for a triple by-pass. 3-4 arteries were 90% closed! He was a walking heart-attack waiting to happen. Dtelsbabygirl
He is still in surgery! I am sure he will recover fine but please keep my daddy in your prayers. You never realize how much someone means until something isn't right and although you loved them all along it is amazing the feeling that overwhelms you. I know he will be looking forward to talking to yall again. Dtel Clan
