ace168516
Good to be back, life is busy with the job and the home life, but still try to pop in occasionally. Hope my tax issue is fixed as well...forgot some sort of dependant validation form for my daycare credit...i'm sure they will take an additional 2 months to get my my check haha. I have a nice cheap keg of High Life for now, since I have not used this new draft box, I did not want to blow that kinda money working out the kinks. I did get my wife a small keg of Woodchuck Dark and Dry, which she was excited about. Have one on me, will try to hop back in my chair sooner rather than later. I have been temporarily reassigned to southern IL for flood damage...working crazy hours, but making crazy money. Getting a little tired of this alone in hotel room stuff though...miss my wife and kid, my stereo and my mattress. Having a couple shiner bocks before getting to bed. Cheers! BLSamuel
I am trying my best not to bring work home without becoming an alcoholic. I know that feeling. Hang in there. Buy new CDs or LPs as your addiction. Much less expensive then being an alcoholic. ben- your ginger is in the super market now- gotta try some soon Hard to find near where we live. A pizzeria in Indianapolis carries it and we just ordered a case of Gold Cap #5 Not As Hot and a 6 pack of Pink Cap #3 Hot. Thoughts and prayers that your neighborhood gets safer and work and home problems calm down.

Steve Stopped in to say hi. Looks like Steve forgot to turn off the lights when he left... or is our virtual hangout in a dangerous neighborhood where we need to leave the lights on to keep out the vandals? Doesn't matter so much. Our virtual Rottweiller just loves chewin on bad guys. I think I need to trademark or patent Virtual Rottweiller... Doesn't matter so much. Our virtual Rottweiller just loves chewin on bad guys. I think I need to trademark or patent Virtual Rottweiller... Hi Ben--I'm forgetting a lot of stuff these days. A week or so ago, i washed my hands in the kitchen sink at about 11pm and turned off the water the next morning at 7:45. My hearing is really getting bad and when i turned off the kitchen light (about two feet from the sink) i couldn't hear the water running full blast. Hate to see my water bill next month. Hearing loss causes a few problems at work, so i've got a referral back to the ear specialist for another examination. Was told four years ago, that i needed hearing aids in both ears in order to have "serviceable hearing" so since my divorce and moving into a one-bedroom apartment, i've been using those darned klipsch over the ear headphones every night--although they sound great, i'm sure it is speeding my hearing loss. BLSamuel
I'm forgetting a lot of stuff these days Me too. Just made a trip into town and back as I forgot the little usb type device to do meaningful work from home on my desk. This morning threw it in bag. Threw it on desktop. Normally attach to laptop bag... the one time I don't do so. GRRRRRRR. My hearing is really getting bad and when i turned off the kitchen light (about two feet from the sink) i couldn't hear the water running full blast. Sorrty to hear that. Out youngest daughter has pretty signicant loss in her left ear. Her right ear is likely to deteriorate but not like her left. My wife also has quite a bit of loss in one ear but not as bad as Alea's. I almost hear too well at times at work too easily distracted. i've been using those darned klipsch over the ear headphones every night--although they sound great, i'm sure it is speeding my hearing loss. The do sound amazing. I finally got to demo them at Klipsch HQ courtesy of Trey who took an about an hour out of his crazy schedule so I could see display area and demo Image One over the ear and S3 in ear. Hard of hearing? Try the in ear, especially the X10 and X5 (I think the X5 sounds better). Dtel who is also hard of hearing claims he can hear more with the Image X10 at lower levels than any over the ear or speakers. Worth a try. Hearing insturments are stupidly expensive and most insurance will only cover one per lifetime at 90% but only 90% of the first $1000 in our case. so stilll almost 2 grand though we did get the 16 "channel" over the 8 and 12 which seemed minimal as the lesser models didn't start at 1/2 or 3/4 as much. The X10 and X5 use an armature like hearing insturments though in a pretty package as Alea's transducer armature is a small square box that fits in her ear canal (with ROUND ear gels open to let through what sound she can hear) with the electronics sitting behind her ear with the microphone at the back of her ear? Not sure how that works but I guess aimed forward?.... At $350 and $250 MSRP worth a shot for music listening at least that might allow you to enjoy music without damaging what hearing you have left. Just find an authorized retailer as counterfiets, especially at the lower end S4 are showing up. Amazon is authorized though many that sell on Amazon are not. And many that do are. A few months ago, due to packaging chante the MSRP 249.99 Image X5 were being sould for like < $130 from Audio Advisor a very well regarded authorized retailer. Marvel
Having a laid back evening... dropped the wife off at Atlanta airport yesterday. She's off to the Philippines to visit her mom who is in the hospital. Not looking very good. Fixing my own meals for three weeks while she is gone (I'll survive). Finally hooked the LaScalas back up after having them unplugged for a couple of months. Letting the Moondogs warm up, cooking supper, will put on some tunes. A cold one will be good... Peace...
