billybob
Well let me be the first today to post a six pack of Miller Lite, and a couple of Angry Orchard to try and appease Bachus with my revelry.(No wine dangit) Going to be leaving late tomorrow on my next to last weekend on P?T job so will cause me to be abbreviated sleep/rest on Sunday's milk run. BTW, when you are dealing with mail order license holders, sometimes you may not be quick enough so... so no such thing as a milk run.M y small near beer cheer. billybob
Nice dinner awaiting Mark. I do not eat or even wedding cake for that matter when drinking. Like Corona! Do you do the lemon/lime thing? As for your wife, you are one fortunate fellow.
billybob
Thinking it is just me but, did some boilermaking at a somewhat tender age. Always seemed to have enough sense to have enough beer to make it right. Guessing there are modern approaches to the boilermaker. Quality ingredients nowadays and if you find yourself short on beer, may still get by. Like a good vodka myself. Have not tried all of the up the pike vodka as of yet, but like a nice stiff that doesn't burn. lol Prefer a schnapps over most alternative, so far so, trolling for suggestions like, bobbing for pickled apples. Have recipes for Monster energy drinks from years ago. Probably a bad idea as, you may meet yourself coming. Owned some trump vodka stock,lol...Was a hoot!
Moderators dtel Posted September 5, 2015 Moderators Share Posted September 5, 2015 Just wanted to say I tried some Jim Bean Devils cut last week, it was just in a shot glass straight nothing mixed with it and it was really smooth compared to the regular JB which I don't much care for, especially straight.

Well you know now dtel, neighbor was into JB, never cared for it, and smooth not in it. Drank some somewhere recently and was surprised it was JB. Better than remembered. May have to check out this what, devil stuff,lol...

billybob
Yeah Devil's Cut ain't all that bad. I've thrown back a few. How about that. Must be pretty decent or you gents wouldn't say so. American Honey? Not you, I mean the Turkey. Like it myself. May make an interesting drink, all by itself. May be too smooth for a boilermaker. Is there such a thing as a smooth boilermaker, I wonder. Not life or death but curious, at times. Denton, Texas is alright in my book. Pulled my frozen chestnut into a roaring fire. Like the folk in Texas. Like it! Edited September 5, 2015 by billybob
