seti
Guys, Google Houston Nutt and read the bloggs. I have never seen anything like it. Perhaps you have seen this kind of thing in your state and this is not such a big deal. I have not. If I were Nutt, I would demand security for me and my family. Yes, I want him to go, but this stuff is way over the line. tc Them pig fans be a bit Rabid. If I were Nutt I would move. Can you be as bad as the Razorpigs this year and still make it to bowl game? IndyKlipschFan
I am quite sure no one cares, but really proud of my Indiana Hoosiers over Purdue today. Great win.... Go IU!
IB Slammin
Sorry I missed it. Wasn't televised here and worked most of the day. Croom should still be proud of his team. Looks like Ark will make it to a bowl game this year. jc When I was in high school, I won the state 100 dash. In doing so, I recieved a trophy that was about 6" tall. When my son completed a year in soccer, he recieved a trophy that was about 3' tall, he wasn't very good, but he showed up. Such it is with bowl games in this day. There are waaay too many. Only teams with outstanding records or performance should be granted post season play IMO. It is not about achievement, it is about money. Yes, Arkansas will play in the Weed-Eater - Sani-Flush Toilet Bowl somewhere I guess. And you bet. MSU played their guts out. Never quit. They will be good next year. tc
Arky
That msu QB has a chance to be pretty good. What is a 100 yrd dash? nah, that's impressive. took a look at the message boards, that stuff turns my stomach. Go Hooisers Go! well that's a 1st. PhilMays
Butch isn't going anywhere, at least not now. He's one year into a contract and I feel it would look horrible if he left a program like that. He's done fantastic at the REAL Carolina. While we have lost many games, we have been in them all with the exception of 2. I think Mack Brown tought the True Blue a lesson. When you've got a great coach...PAY HIM! In this day and age you've got to "pay to play"! I think Spurrier is most likely the best USC can do....You guys play in the toughest football conference year in and year out, BAR NONE! BRING ON BASKETBALL!
oldbuckster
You guys don't like the "Old Ball Coach".? I like Spurrier in the College ranks, not so hot in the Pro's .... I think he's done a good job at USC.... Basketball ............... GO TARHEELS ...... start slow, finish strong ......... Coach Williams needs a Championship to get proper respect !!!!!!! Daddy Dee
I missed the Arkansas - MS State game. Tony Reed was helping me organize a storage building. Did listen to the post game show on Radio 920 in LR. They were saying ESPN is going with the story that Houston has resigned, but it won't be acknowledged by any official UA sources. Supposedly he is talking to SMU, Baylor and Nebraska. If so, I hope he has negotiated a satisfactory severance package. I haven't browsed the bloggs, but they are pretty ugly, eh? What happened that Felix Jones was not in the game. What kind of game did DMac have?
IB Slammin
Dee, The bloggs are very ugly. No need to go there. McFadden was 97 yds for 28 carries. Hillis had 67 yds. Jones has a deep quad bruise. tc
klipschaholik
An 8 year old boy was riding his bicycle in Bryan, Texas, when he saw his friend being attacked by a large pit bulldog. The boy jumped off his bike, ran and jumped on the dog's back. After prying the vicious animal's teeth from his young friend's body, he put the dog in a choke hold and held on until the dog was dead. The local newspaper editor happened to witness this feat and after calling for the ambulance on his cell phone, ran over to the young hero and said, "Son, that was one of the bravest things I have ever seen. You're going to make tomorrow's headlines. It will read: Texas A & M Fan is Hero; Risks His Life; Saves Young Friend From Vicious Pit Bull Attack. The youngster said, "That's nice, but I'm not a Texas A & M Fan". The editor said, "OK, then it will read: University of Texas Fan Saves Young Friend's Life in Pit-Bull Attack The young man said, "But I'm not a University of Texas fan." The editor said, "OK, then it will read: University of Houston Fan Saves Friend's Life. Once again the young man interrupted, saying, "I'm not a University of Houston fan, either." The editor, becoming somewhat irritated, asked, "Then, who is your favorite team?" The kid replied with a big smile, "LSU" The next morning, the local newspaper headlines read: "BELOVED FAMILY PET MURDERED BY LITTLE COONASS" Now dat's funny! wstrickland1
good one Kaholik. So you think LM is going to Michigan? How about Saban comparing the ULaM loss to 911? There's def. going to be a shake up coaching wise come January.

There's def. going to be a shake up coaching wise come January. One would think that a coach with that kind of program would stay forever. BUT, I think LM coaching at Michigan is his dream job,..... like Lou H. at ND. Want to talk NUTS, the LV line has Arkansas + 13-1/2 over LSU. Not much of a betting man, but I just might take some of that. tc EDIT: The reason I don't bet. They have Ole Miss over MSU............. Arky
Don't forget they set those lines to create equal action on both sides, ideally the games push & bookmakers collect juice, thus no risk exposure.

klipschaholik
Me, I'm guessing LM has already set the moving date with Mayflower. I hope I'm wrong, but he's got that homing pigeon instinct working on him and if they wave enough green in his face he's long gone. I think Sabin was just expressing his disbelief in the fact that AL could lose to North East (that's what UL&M was called when I was at LA Tech). I don't think he was trying to make their loss a more significant event, just something that happened that one would never imagine. He better have a good recruiting season or he's gonna get the boot. That AL alumini won't stand for that kind of performance from a $4MM man! Those next two games for LSU got me kinda scared especially considering the way the Tigers have been playing lately. We'll see what happens Friday. [:S]

I pride myself in not having the vice of gambling, as I practice most of the others. tc Meaning if the bookmaker/bookie can get equal money bet on both sides of a game, they pay the winners the exact amount they collect from the losers so they're even. Their profit comes from collecting the 10% juice from the loser. If you lose a $200 bet you have to pay $220. In casino sportsbooks the juice is built into the nature of the bet. Anyway, glad I gave that crap up a number of yrs ago, except for when i'm in LV.
