That's funny. My first post was in a thread that was deleted. I remember well because I never laughed so hard. That's what made me like all you guys here.

I was looking to either get KHorns, LS or Belles, and it was a post asking people to rate the Heritage models on a scale of 1-10. Boy, did that go haywire!

I remember Tom Brennan saying how Heresies were "chainsaws," and how he knew by being an afficionado for something like 30 years. I found many posts by him from another forum where, just in the preceding year, he was touting the Heresies as the best little speaker in its class. I posted them in juxtaposition to his "chainsaw" observation. It was grand!

Then, he and Craig (NosValves) got into some blows.

I remember pictures of "Blowhard" caricatures and threats of lawsuits in Judge Judy's court. For those memories, I thank Craig. If it wasn't for him, I would not have realized how fun and free-spirited this forum can be.

Totally not speaker related. I do remember this but I'm surprised it's my first post.

Wow going through That first of IndyKlipschfan brings back some memories. I haven't eaten at a Burgerchef since I was 9 and I lived in Mt Vernon Illinois.

Do they still exist? I just loved that smell when you pulled up to the restaurant.

This was my first post in a Klipsch forum and as you can read Cueman is a St. and 2005 was a very good year for Da Kaiser[:D]

Now I own (although an Industrial pair) the first Klipsch speaker I ever heard driven by Mac gear in 1979 at a little salon in Shreveport La. called Audio Fedelity[Y]

Of all the forums I belong or have visited this one is the best by far, not just a great product but most of who I have encountered here are what make this forum what it is FAMILY albiet extended it is family just the same.

I had to laugh.. Post your first post in a link so we can get to know who you are from your first few days on here. LOL

It looks like I was a late night person even back then!

Ok I'm starting to become the "forum's use a link cop". First few are free than you got to learn to do it on your own.

I started asking about Belle crossovers.

I have owned my Belles for about 8 months now and I am very pleased.
However, I do not know when they were built as the serial numbers were
removed. It has the AA croassover and I was curious if anything on
these speakers should be tweaked or upgraded? Are these better left
untouched or are there must do upgrades or maintenance?

Also,
I have always wanted a pair of vintage quadII monoblocks and I was
curious how forum members rate them? They were the first tube amps I
ever listened to so I suppose it would be more of a nostalgic purchase
more than anything. it was too long ago for me to remember exact
details or compare to current system.

****

Ans do the madness began.
