What's this world coming to ?.................... DUDE !!!!!!It's not like they'll quit making it, although that might not be a bad idea. They could start making it like the original in Europe. That would be a huge improvement.

j-malotky
I could never drink budweiser for some reason. I love beer, but that stuff never sat well in my stomach. JM
oldbuckster
It's not so much the product, it's the fact, that Budweiser is sorta' the American Beer, Red, White and Blue, they sponsored NASCAR for many years, home in St. Louis, an American Icon, if you will, Busch Stadium ................ just doesn't seem right, but it's really about share-holders, and what they want to do ............ What's next? .... Corvettes built in Viet Nam ? Not offical yet, but it will happen, they will get out before Beer Prices skyrocket, and profits become smaller ........ Crazy New World we're in ...........
Timmikid
That is if you like your beer warm. The original Budweiser is made in Tchechia (How on earth do you spell that in English) and means, in German 'from Ceské Budejovice' and has the same recommended serving temperature as the US Bud. English silksmooth ales aren't that warm either, just not that cold. Now Heineken has Ice Beer, yikes!

They legally can't call it Budweiser there... It's called Czechvar, and blows Bud out of the water.

Daddy Dee
There is something disconcerting about AB being owned by a Belgian brewery. No doubt the product could be improved.
InnerTuber
Ditto for me Duke Never quite figured out why, but I get Budaches too.

JJkizak
The old Bud used to make you pee-pee a lot. Also bud is not a very exciting beer in the taste department. They have nice comercials though. JJK

Dflip
Do you think they will layoff the Clydsdale horses to cut costs? Or just the Dalmation mascott? They will sell off the stadium and the Cardinals. Interbrew is not in the sport's business. If you want to check out their history take a look at the Toronto Blue Jays who were owned by Labatt's brewery until Interbrew bought them out. The team and stadium were sold off to Ted Rogers, well ultimately he also got the stadium. Not sure about what happens to Busch Gardens either? oldbuckster
Can't prove it, but read it somewhere ............ A/B is owned 50% by a Mexican Brewer, and A/B is looking to that Brewer to stop this take-over, by buying A/B's 50% ............ Strange Bed Fellow's ............... EH ???
