oldbuckster
Raise the price high enough they won't smoke cigarettes ..... that's working ..... Now let's raise the price of gasoline, and they'll stop driving, ... hmm, that's seems to be working, too ........ Now let's stop this drinking thing, and begin to raise those prices too, .... a blindman can see what's coming .... Anheuser Busch singing Steve Miller's, "Take the Money and Run" ............... while their business is worth something ........

J.4knee
I am going to the craft brew/ home brew competitions this weekend at the Del Mar Fair (now officially known as the San Diego County Fair). I love sampling the wares at these events. But basically I am with Picky my favorite beer is the next one. Bummer for us (Verna and I). We were hoping you and your bride might be in Indy this weekend. Next year for sure!
Daddy Dee
It's a done deal. InBev's offer is 27% higher than A-B's record stock price in 2002. $70 per share.
oldbuckster
Anheuser-Busch sees the writing on the wall, Beer prices and Taxes are ready to climb, cut and run, what a shame. Probably the end for my Rolling Rock, too ......... crazy world it's becoming ...... some call it Global ..... What's next ? It's not about the consumer, it's about shareholders profit, good deal for them ..............

oldtimer
As they say in Belgiam: You want mayo with those fries? mayo, salt and vinegar, tabasco(my personal favorite), its all at least as good as tomato sauce. For Belgian though, the mussels in white wine and butter are the best. I used to put mustard on my fries as a kid to keep the others from being tempted to steal them. It worked like a charm, and mustard is at least as good as tomato sauce (catsup, ketchup) in my book.
oldbuckster
Never, ever thought that Budweiser would not be owned by Anheuser - Busch in my lifetime ....... Gee, maybe Bob Dylan was right, "The times they are a'changin' " ............... next up ; Jack Daniels distilled in Denmark ???? ......"The Sky is fallin', the Sky is fallin' " .............. ZAKO
Anheuser Bush makes some fine tasting beer,,, BUT that "Budweiser" brand is the worst tasting beer in the world,, It tasts like the scrappings off the barroom floor,,, Maybe with IBEV they could once and for all improve the flaver of that beer.... I used to live a block from Anheiser Bush and my grand father worked there all his life,,, He called Budweiser "slop" and Michelobe there best beer. Ive tasted some great beers from all over the world,, So maybe we can finally be introduced to some better beer flavers from IBEV. But if your used to drinking slop be my guest. kuisis
Looks like Inbev has better beer. Rolling Rock was bought up a few years ago. People swore they could taste the difference. Have some friends in Latrobe who won't drink the stuff anymore. Looks like the Steelers won't be family owned anymore either. Tom
