Hey don't expect me to be responsible, I was drafted. But I will try, It's the least I can do considering all the help I have received from everyone here, Klipsch and all the fine people we have had the luck to meet in person. Christy laughed and said you can't even moderate yourself half the time even off the forum. But thanks everyone, I think3 points

In the quest for Ms. right I was told by two friends at separate times about someone I should look up that may be a good match. The trouble was they didn't know her contact info or if she still uses her married name. The coincidence of both mentioning her was intriguing so I set about trying to locate her. She was not in the phone book or on FB. I found her older sister (my age) on FB and sent her a message....no response. I knew Ms. right went to church with a couple of folks I know so I put the word out. Sounds like stalking doesn't it? Long story short a female friend sat behind her in church and they talked afterwards. I got her phone number finally. We talked for almost an hour and will have lunch Thursday. I like tall brunettes and she is 5'9" though the female friend said she is letting her brown hair go grey. According to all involved she is attractive with an athletic build. Does this mean I will have to go to church3 points

Surprisingly I Haven't tried that, but now I want to. I would need some toast or something between the coffee and Guinness. Damn it, looked in the fridge and out of Guinness. I sometimes like 2 or 3 as night caps. No Sambuca either.3 points

Man, I hope your's doesn't like beer! That's risky with twist offs. The Corona's may be the only safe ones. My labs love their 3' ft round pool filled with water. They lay in there cooling off and order umbrella drinks.3 points

Ah, Folgers w/The Duggans is tasting mighty fine. Yet another day w/10 Wpc, Haffler amp cannot go above that. Just got in my new hand held Db meter, looks like that outdoor test will wait till next week. Qsc amp should ship today out of LA, id go down a fetch it, but i really despise Driving in LA. If $60Bucks shipping saves me the nightmare, i pay it. Hoping to see a Bright and cheery Tarheel update this morning.2 points

My black Chorus II (no badges or tags, otherwise good condition) went for $650, that took nearly a month to sell. Condition and your eagerness to sell will affect the price.2 points

I was only able to get $540 for my Chorus II and they were in excellent condition. It's hard to tell from your photo the exact condition of yours.1 point

The risers are important to show there was no flood damage. The tops show how well they were taken care of, too often there is the dreaded drink ring or planter mark.1 point

There is a guy with walnut Chorus with boxes in WI that had them posted for a long time at $700. I think they were worth it for this market (Chicago), Chorus II go for a ~$750 around here in decent shape. Photos help with pricing. Good luck with your sale.1 point

It looks like it, jump the fence in the middle of the night and try to get in the house, he will show you who's in charge. Looks like a happy puppy1 point

Rib cooking tip: I cooked a slab of pork spare ribs yesterday for tonight's Sunday supper due to not being at home much today. So I cooked em to perfection yesterday and then refrigerated overnight. This evening about 30 minutes before eating time I put the ribs back in the smoker (hot side if you will) and warmed em back up. Every bit as good as the little taster I had yesterday if not just a little better!1 point

Untill the neighbors got used to the dog, i had a lot of beer left over from the first pool party1 point

That they're walnut should help a bit. What they'e worth is dependent on your local market more than anything, but even in BFE they should fetch $500 minimum. You could always carry on the family tradition (both yours and Klipsch) of disturbing the neighbors and keep them for yourself.1 point

If you were local to me and they were near mint I'd offer you $500 cash. I've seen then sell for more but I've also picked up a few pairs for much less. Good luck with your sale!1 point

Had to read that 4 times, or more. So you had coffee left over from breakfast with dinner, or had coffee and eggs & bacon or another type of breakfast for dinner? This is good brain practice for me to prepare for Monday. Wait, What? monday is coming again ? The only thing bad about my Mondays is my Fav Pub does not open till 10am. Daily at 6am 6days a week, i dont go there everyday, but when i do, i have discovered two Guinness's before breakfast will give you quite a buzz.1 point

Well there are only 2 ducks left now Don't know if it died from a stray bb or eating way to many peppers ? Since there was no blood it may have been the peppers, granddaughter thinks it was a heart attack but I doubt that. The last two have not come back on the porch, yet.1 point

I created a "mini" Chorus II using a pair of Forte II's with a Chorus II crossover and KP-250 12" woofers. This is a huge improvement over stock Forte II's. I prefer the sound of the Chorus over the Cornwall personally, don't know your take on the two. You can buy the Eminence Pro12 drivers new on eBay for $110 each shipped. Hope this helps. Jesse1 point

If you are looking at something within "driving distance", you might want to say exactly where you are located. Much easier to calculate with that little bit of information......... Shakey1 point

Well, time to rap up this thread with a short review on the Dayton Ultimax 22-18 2 ohm DVC subwoofer. The term tight, musical, detail, powerful are used to sell subwoofers along with a few others. Now for the Ultimax - WoW ! This is coming from a guy who alread had six 18 in. driver and a more than powerful bass system. Last, some pic's.1 point
