employee states " I am not your 'beach', you can't tell me what to do" after continuing tadiness and refusal to just work after a night (too many) out. Sadly, I can. Goodbye! But then again, $100,000 jobs in S Tx are easy to find, right? Just another day at the office.7 points

On our recent roadtrip we are "Good Tourist" and spread/spend likely more than one should. However spending a few days in a small town "New Florence" we had time to run around and sample life in the outback, finding a Local pub and talking to locals, they give us a wealth of info and Taste as to local fair. yes we bought "Shine" as well as Wine,Gin, Vodka, all from local distilliers, and it is good. However wile shopping we seek something we just do not have at home. This would be things made in state and just not found anywhere else. At this time we have now finished TWO "Jars" that can only be found in MO. Available on the web, because i just ordered today from both. First up: BBQ Sauce, and by far the best we have ever had. Contacted the company and yep, only sold in MO, but also online! Price is pretty dam good too! http://missourimercantile.com/smokinhermit.shtml Next up: Bloody Mary Mix The First/ONLY mix straight out of a bottle into a glass containing 2Oz of Vodka, throw in ice and you are sooo Done. Dare you to drink two! Yep, only sold in Mo, and online,(thank god). and FREE SHIPPING! <Edit, the gentalman called me to say his shipping online thingy was broken, charged $15bones no biggie. http://www.5gensalsa.com/6 points

what you offering for anesthesia? dtel was thinking a quart bottle of Mogen David might work. Don't forget the dental chain saw, 'cept I hear that patients start getting nervous if the doc has to pull the rope more than a couple of times. We're thinking about loppers to prune back any damaged gum tissue. Just got to make sure there is room in Steve's mouth for all this gear4 points

I couldn't limit it to five. Most often in my house that you will hear: P!NK Bruno Mars Jethro Tull Gershwin Rolling Stones I love seeing this naked woman dancing through the house to anything with a beat. It starts my mornings off right. For someone that is very modest, she has no qualms going without clothes around the house. A body that puts women 40 years her junior to shame. SOOoooo, good dance music is what keeps this house rockin' and me falling in love with her more everyday! My favorites are anything that gets me the chance to live a dream with this fantastical woman that puts up with me!4 points

Afraid when you turned around for the anesthetic, you would have had a miraculous recovery of your patient. Thinking he did the right thing, in not keeping the appointment. As pleasant as it sounds.4 points

Thanks...I'll see if I can dig some up.....bit of a drive for the live show....LOL Definitely a bit far. They are pretty hard core, but I really like some of the sounds they make.3 points

Pass then. Those speakers have probably been DJ'd hard over the years and there's no telling what you're going to find inside. I bought some KP-301-II's that looked really nice. They had 2 different crossovers (one only worked occasionally and was for a I instead of a II) and 2 different tweeter diaphragms. There's a reason you can't demo them. I normally bring a chip amp with a cigarette lighter adapter with LONG speaker wires and an ipod to demo speakers so there's no excuse. You can talk him down even further once you point out what all doesn't work.3 points

Got a surprise call from my son who has a last minute booking for his band in Denton at a diy punk venue. Anyone in the area wanting to see the underground punk scene on Sunday let me know.3 points

Don't forget the dental chain saw, 'cept I hear that patients start getting nervous if the doc has to pull the rope more than a couple of times. Couple years back the wife was going in for a pulling, the day before i chucked up a 1/2" carbide bit in my Milwalkee 28V, sitting on the patio/coffee, reached under my chair and hammered (you know the sound) a hole in the Slab, told her we are going to save some money babe. No dinner for the next two days3 points

Irvine outdoor theater, had a limo and a chick that doubled for cher, front row, randy roads, blizzard album tour. That would be the old Irvine Meadows, right Mark? Honestly, i’m not making this up…i saw REO Speedwagon there back in 1981. Yes, you are correct, thank god iv been out of the OC long enough to forget the name of the place! This is where i learned about scalpers, if your willing to pay the price, and i was, name your seat and you got it. never missed anyone i wanted to see.. Areosmith, ZZ, clapton, alice cooper, quite riot, black sabbath, ozzy X3, know there were more, just cannot remember them all. Oh yeah, almost forgot, when that irvine medows first opened, my roommate said hey mark, we go there and jump the fence next door, walk a little ways then climb into the theater, sounds good Dan, let's do it! Dan neglected to inform me we were climbing into the Zoo, and indeed right into a cage, some kind of african wild dog and there were a lot of them, trust me, we made it to the theater fence in record time and both our legs were bleeding from critter bites and the fence. needless to say that was just about the last time i was a mindless kid. P.S. to this day, Dan will NOT friend me on FB, he still feels that bad........3 points

Whelp, got started on the 5.1 and employing the 5.5's straight to Plasma. Nice enough for HT but builtin amp not up to snuff when going toward loud in a 2 channel, cuts out around 2/3 volume. Nevermind that as just gassing around. Progress though!3 points

Thad left himself no room for plausable deniability? Ouch. Well now he has "experience" and knows in the future to work out such things in back rooms filled with cigar smoke and bourbon or scotch flowing. Ahhhh, the world of politics and diplomacy.2 points

Okay, I actually found yet another LS I on eBay, at the right price. This will make a total of four. This particular unit is a little rougher then the other three, but I am confident that Greg Roberts will be able to bring it back (given that he has managed to restore professional units with the hand-holds in the sides!). Here it is: Wish me luck! I am already bothering Greg with stupid questions, which he has shown a remarkable amount of patience in answering. We will wait until his move is complete before delivering the speakers to his new location and starting the gut-rehab.2 points
