  1. Why the heck not rolllllll???? Live at the Isle of Wight Festival 1970 is a live album by the American rock band the Doors, released on February 23, 2018, on Rhino Records. The concert was recorded at the Isle of Wight Festival in England on August 30, 1970, and this was released by Eagle Rock Entertainment. It was the group's final appearance as a foursome outside of the US and also the last full filming of a Doors concert.[1] This is the 1970 remaster and it's killer! See what happens when you plant seeds @Full Range? 😂 😂 Live at Pompeii is a live album and film by David Gilmour, the guitarist of Pink Floyd. It was recorded at the Amphitheatre of Pompeii. It documents his 2015–16 world tour to promote his album, Rattle That Lock (2015). The concert was directed by Gavin Elder. The album was released on 29 September 2017.

  2. Imma rollin here George! How ya feelin brother? King Crimson were an English progressive rock band formed in 1968 in London. The band drew inspiration from a wide variety of music, incorporating elements of classical, jazz, folk, heavy metal, gamelan, blues, industrial, electronic, experimental music and new wave. They exerted a strong influence on the early 1970s progressive rock movement, including on contemporaries such as Yes and Genesis, and continue to inspire subsequent generations of artists across multiple genres.[1] The band earned a large cult following.[2][3] Founded by Robert Fripp, Michael Giles, Greg Lake, Ian McDonald and Peter Sinfield, the band initially focused on a dramatic sound layered with Mellotron, McDonald's saxophone and flute, and Lake's bass and powerful lead vocals. Their debut album, In the Court of the Crimson King (1969), remains their most commercially successful and influential release, with a potent mixture of jazz, classical and experimental music.[4] Following the sudden simultaneous departures of McDonald and Giles, with Lake also leaving very shortly afterwards, the next two albums In the Wake of Poseidon and Lizard (both 1970) were recorded during a period of instability in the band's line-up. A settled band of Fripp, Sinfield, Mel Collins, Boz Burrell and Ian Wallace recorded Islands in 1971, though in mid-1972, Fripp let go of this line-up and changed the group's instrumentation and approach, drawing from European free improvisation and developing ever more complex compositions. With Bill Bruford, John Wetton, David Cross and, briefly, Jamie Muir, they reached what some saw as a creative peak on Larks' Tongues in Aspic (1973), Starless and Bible Black (1974), and Red (1974). King Crimson disbanded at the end of 1974. Island 1971 Half Speed Mastered is sounding divine and then some!

  7. Here are both my baby girls. Marissa and her baby girl Kyia. together thru college and grad school and Dad was always the go to guy. That lil girl NEVER leaves her sidewhether its in the house or out running 3-4 miles. She's right beside her. Fully trained and guaranteed to rip nads off. She's only got a few more years left. Riss just told me she's putting her in diapers at night. The times coming and we both know it. It'll be a super sad day when she has to put her down. Best dog I ever saw and she's loved by every friend of hers. Gonna be crazy bad. 🧡

  9. Just finished up with this one. Things are a cookin here and I'm soooo tweeked in. Sound stage is running the entire wall. Corner to corner. Back in the sixties when I picked up that lil Klipsh booklet for my report I now know WHY he made so much sense. He's gotta be laffin at me cause this place is alive. I've GOTTA get that stripper pole up! Dire Straits were a British rock band formed in London in 1977 by Mark Knopfler (lead vocals and lead guitar), David Knopfler (rhythm guitar and backing vocals), John Illsley (bass guitar and backing vocals) and Pick Withers (drums and percussion). They were active from 1977 to 1988 and again from 1990 to 1995.[2] Dire Straits' fourth studio album Love Over Gold, an album of songs filled with lengthy passages that featured Alan Clark's piano and keyboard work, was well received when it was released in September 1982, going gold in America and spending four weeks at number one in the United Kingdom. The title was inspired by graffiti seen from the window of Knopfler's old council flat in London. The phrase was taken from the sleeve of an album by Captain Beefheart. Love Over Gold was the first Dire Straits album produced solely by Mark Knopfler, and its main chart hit, "Private Investigations", gave Dire Straits their first top 5 hit single in the United Kingdom, where it reached the number 2 position, despite its almost seven-minute length, and became another of the band's most popular live songs.[35] Workin on this dude dude right now. Kevin Roosevelt Moore (born October 3, 1951), known as Keb' Mo', is an American blues musician and eight-time Grammy Award winner. He is a singer, guitarist, and songwriter, living in Nashville, Tennessee. He has been described as "a living link to the seminal Delta blues that travelled up the Mississippi River and across the expanse of America."[2] His post-modern blues style is influenced by many eras and genres, including folk, rock, jazz, pop and country. The moniker "Keb Mo" was coined by his original drummer, Quentin Dennard, and picked up by his record label as a "street talk" abbreviation of his given name. You ever get the chance ya better go for it! :)

  15. That's a good run ^^^. Do not think I ever saw Steely Dan on the Midnight Special back then! Heart? Back when those girls were gorgeous? Yep saw them a lot when they looked like that and jammed like that also. Killer TOOL, then U2 being thought provoking like they can be! & I was stuck on something I said earlier with my Dom Martin post. No the other DOM.. from Ireland with the heavy blues guitar! Anyhow he's got a cover on there that although I like his music, he butchered. Couldn't help it, no one can make anything else out of Willie's iconic song since Patsy did it over 60 years ago! https://onstagecountry.com/the-story-behind-patsy-clines-song-crazy/ Think they call that a mic drop now-a-days or like I'd say... the trump-card!

  20. Guess it’s becoming an annual thing. A friend of ours works at the Holiday Inn in town and they have a building they call The Barn that they rent out for receptions and parties. I’ll be using my best friends KLF-30s. Laptop connected to my receiver for High-Res audio. Set up in my main floor living room to give everything a test run.

Opened for Ted and Aero back when Aerosmith were sometimes ripped with Steve and Joe fist fighting on stage. Blew both of `em off the stage immediately prior to his Live record coming out!

  31. I owned a McIntosh MA 252 and it sounded very good. I auditioned a Primaluna Evo 400 and preferred the sound over the MA 253 so I traded it in for the evo. I am very happy I moved to the all tube integrated amplifier as I love the sound with my Forte IVs

  33. I'm currently running a pair of the new Fosi Audio ZA3 as mono blocks to drive the woofers on my horn speakers and by next week, I'll have another pair to drive the tweeters. I've been rolling op amps in them and so far, I'm deeply impressed with the SQ. There is zero noise and the separation and imaging are exquisite with MuseS02 op amps in them. Next week, I'll also get a pair of Sparkos op amps to try, and will be able to a/b them. I'd previously been using a pair of Alesis RA150 mono blocks on the woofers and an Emotiva Mini-x a100 on the tweeters; they're great amps that performed well, but after a couple weeks with the ZA3, I'll concede that the class D amps are more betterer.

See what I did there? Talked myself right into playing it! PWK sooooo had his schiit together! Just makes me horney everytime a full lp takes me down to the river for another baptism (I'm a repeat offender. Not really 💪). Yea, buddy it's THAT freakin tight! Kick back @Abomb crank it a bit and enjoy. I'll smooth mama bear for ya! She'll be goin what's that? Then just ask her if she likes it and watch. I got your back! 😂

  35. Guess it's time to post a few I've thrown on lately. Things are cranked here while I watch a lil NCAA women's hoops muted. hahaha Poco was an American country rock band originally formed in 1968 after the demise of Buffalo Springfield. Guitarists Richie Furay and Jim Messina, former members of Buffalo Springfield, were joined by multi-instrumentalist Rusty Young, bassist Randy Meisner, and drummer George Grantham. Meisner quit the band while they were recording their first album, Pickin' Up the Pieces, though his bass and backing vocal parts were kept in the final mix. He was replaced by Timothy B. Schmit in 1969, and Messina left in 1970 to be replaced by Paul Cotton. The line-up would change numerous times over the next several decades, with Rusty Young being the only constant member. A reunion of the founding members occurred in the late 1980s-early 1990s, and the band has continued in some form through 2021, though they retired from active touring in 2013, with Young citing health concerns as the primary cause of his retirement. Young died from a heart attack in April 2021. Their second studio album released in 1970. Emerson, Lake & Palmer (informally known as ELP) were an English progressive rock supergroup formed in London in 1970.[2][3] The band consisted of Keith Emerson (keyboards) of the Nice, Greg Lake (vocals, bass, guitars, producer) of King Crimson, and Carl Palmer (drums, percussion) of Atomic Rooster. With nine RIAA-certified gold record albums in the US,[4] and an estimated 48 million records sold worldwide,[5] they are one of the most popular and commercially successful progressive rock groups of the 1970s,[6][7] with a musical sound including adaptations of classical music with jazz and symphonic rock elements, dominated by Emerson's flamboyant use of the Hammond organ, Moog synthesizer, and piano (although Lake wrote several acoustic songs for the group).[8] Their first from 1970, They followed right up in 1971 with Tarkus. Both lp's reached the #5 spot in the UK . Genesis are an English rock band formed at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, in 1967. The band's longest-existing and most commercially successful line-up consisted of keyboardist Tony Banks, bassist/guitarist Mike Rutherford and drummer/singer Phil Collins. In the 1970s, during which the band also included singer Peter Gabriel and guitarist Steve Hackett, Genesis were among the pioneers of progressive rock. The group were formed by five Charterhouse pupils, including Banks, Rutherford, Gabriel and guitarist Anthony Phillips, and named by former Charterhouse pupil and pop impresario Jonathan King, who arranged for them to record several singles and their debut album From Genesis to Revelation in 1969. After splitting from King, the band began touring, signed with Charisma Records and became a progressive rock band on Trespass (1970). Phillips departed after the album's recording, with Banks, Rutherford and Gabriel recruiting Collins and Hackett before recording Nursery Cryme (1971).
