  3. There was a boy who worked in the produce section of the market. A man came in and asked to buy half a head of lettuce. The boy told him they only sold whole heads of lettuce, but the man replied he did not need a whole head, but only a half head. The boy said he would go ask his manager about the matter. The boy walked into the back room and said, "There's some arshole out there who wants to buy only half a head of lettuce." As he was finishing saying this he turned around to find the man standing right behind him, so he added, "And this gentleman wants to buy the other half." The manager okayed the deal and the man went on his way. Later the manager called on the boy and said, "You almost got yourself in a lot of trouble earlier, but I must say I was impressed with the way you got yourself out of it. You think on your feet and we like that around here. Where are you from son?" The boy replied, "Minnesota sir." "Oh really? Why did you leave Minnesota" asked the manager. The boy replied, "They're all just whores and hockey players up there." Really replied the manager, "My wife is from Minnesota!!" The boy replied, "No kidding! What team did she play for?"

  9. That wasn't what I was trying to do. I agree with what you said. IMHO, @HumanTrophy should set the K44e aside until another one, if ever, is scored. In the meantime, use a pair of K43, or even K33 to get them up and going.

  10. All quiet in Duckburg. Low 70's today and turning up the heat to the mid's this week. Just about time to kick back and see how the neighbors enjoy a lil Miles Davis hittin the high notes. Thought about a trip to Cbus today for the spring football game but blah. Fox covered it nationwide, which was the first time ever. 80k in the place, studs all over the field, coaching changes, formers coming back to strut their gold and diamands from the NFL and a couple Super Bowl rings? Don't need me w/my pom poms. 😂 Yea, the games a changin for sure. We'll see what shakes out after the Spring version of the NIL, which opens on the 16th and closes on the 30th. People seem to be over-looking that one lil thing that can change the face of a team. They're not showin 'em anything anyway. Just a scrimmage w/bands and fans. I will go on record with this. You think Marvin Harrison was a great wide receiver? Jerimaih Smith IS the REAL DEAL. This freshman is making unreal catches already and hasn't even hit the weight room. He's gonna be truly amazing IF he can stay healthy. Bloodwork Monday morning. I'm taking my mug and won't leave that place when the vamps are done til it's FULL! Yea, think I'm addicted. Carry on!

  13. 72 year old Yitzhak has just entered his shul and sat down when he sees Hymie, an old friend of his, sitting on the other side of the shul, with a young blonde woman at his side. At the end of the service, as he is leaving, Yitzhak sees Hymie walking away arm in arm with this woman. So he discreetly follows them into the local park and from a distance, watches them cavort around just like youngsters. When they finish locked in each other’s arms, Yitzhak thinks, "Oy, did they enjoy themselves!" Next shabbat, Yitzhak enters his shul, sits down, and again sees Hymie, but this time with a different young woman at his side. And then, later on during the service, Hymie gets the Hagbah aliyah, and is soon holding the Torah above his head and spinning around as if he were 20 years old. So at the end of the service, Yitzhak goes over to Hymie, congratulates him, and asks, "So what's going on with you Hymie? Are you on drugs or what?" Hymie replies, "I don't want to talk about it here. Come with me into the Mens Room and I'll explain." When they get there, Hymie says, "I've recently had a shmeckle transplant, donated by the family of a young man killed in a car accident." When Hymie then shows Yitzhak his 8" strong looking shmeckle, Yitzhak says, "Oy vey, that’s fantastic," and then takes the name of the surgeon who had performed the transplant. Within days, Yitzhak has made an appointment to see the surgeon privately. After hearing the details, Yitzhak asks, "So could I have the same operation?" The surgeon replies, "No problem." Yitzhak asks him, "So how much will such an operation cost me?" "If it's the same as your friend Hymie had, it will cost you $10,000," replies the surgeon. Yitzhak says, "Oy doctor, that's too much. I'm not as rich as Hymie." The surgeon says, "That's OK, I have a number of penises available from $100 upwards. You choose." Yitzhak chooses the cheapest one for $100. Hymie and Yitzhak meet up in shul a few weeks later. Yitzhak shuffles in and Hymie goes over to him, slaps him on the back and quietly says, "So nu? How did the Operation go?" Yitzhak replies, "It went OK, but I don’t really feel any different." So Hymie says, "let’s go to the Men’s Room so that I can have a peep." When Yitzhak takes it out, Hymie gives a bellow of laughter and says, "He gave you my old one!"

  14. I don’t know if I would say the word hardest, but I definitely feel like I can keep turning it up, and the speakers never really show any signs of complaining… like if I turned the RF7 way up (for example) that I used to own….at a certain point you could definitely start hearing something would start complaining…..whether it was the speakers, the amplifier, or my ears. (I don’t know)… but with the 396 I never really feel like anything is reaching a critical point. Almost like a car that you don’t even realize you’re going 110mph until you look at the speedometer.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Now I ain't complaining, just try'n to understand What makes a woman do the things she does. One day she'll love you, the next day she'll leave you, Why can't We have it, just the way it used to be? Wooo. Why can't we have it baby. 'cause I'm a man, I got my pride, I don't need no woman to hurt me inside, I need a love, like any other; yeah. So go on and leave me, Leave me for another! Good lovin' gone bad, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, Good lovin' gone bad, bad, bad, Good lovin' gone bad; yeah. Baby I'm a bad man, now, now. Oh yes, Yes indeed, indeed I am. Oh oh oh oh yeah, gone bad. Oh oh oh oh. Now I'm a man, I got my pride, Don't need no woman to hurt me inside, I need a love like any other, So go on and leave me, Leave me for another. Good lovin' gone bad, it's gone I say, Good lovin' gone bad, now now now, Good lovin' gone bad, yeah yeah yeah And baby I'm a bad man, Good lovin' gone bad, That's what I want to say, Good lovin' bad, good lovin', Good lovin' gone bad, Oh, baby I'm a bad man, Good lovin gone bad, Good lovin' gone bad, Good lovin' gone bad, I'm a sad man, Don't stand in my way, 'Cause baby I'm a bad man, Yeah, yeah, yeah....... Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah Wooo Good Lovin Gone Bad. Great song because lyrics are so true.

  21. What are the performence of the 3/4 inch horn tweeters like, will they be similar in performence to the ones in my cinema 400 soundbar. Is the tweeter in the pic only a part of the horn tweeter or is it the tweeter in whole.

  25. The K44 will probably not be an easy find. As Bruce said, the K43 can work in its place, and I would replace them both with the same woofer. Here is some more info about the two woofers. If you can score some TSCM, your C-1 will match them.

  27. What are you using to power your 396's? I'm considering putting mine back together to try them out with my new Carver 285 amplifier thinking it may open them up a bit over the 275 I was running before. The 396's were probably the hardest Klipsch speakers I've owned to drive my little Carver VTA-20 was not up to task at all and it ran my Chorus II's fairly well.

  33. @kippy congratulations on your purchase of the Heritage Jubilee which are amazing…!!! Your MC252 will most likely be a very good match and well worth giving them a chance before trying anything different. Getting the loudspeaker/room integration optimized is where the magic happens… 🙂👍 miketn

  34. All Jubilees originally came with an active cross over... also, if you have purchased Heritage Jubilees you have consumer Jubilees... not Professional Jubilees Professional subforum. Whether or not if you need a subwoofer is up to your personal preference... and if you have Heritage or Professional Jubilees You made your purchase without learning about their capabilities and amplification requirements? Enjoy them, and be careful with your listening levels... the speakers can absolutely damage your hearing.

  36. Thanks derrick, one more question, do you think it's worth upgrade from RF-82ii to RF-7 ii to pair with RC-64ii provided that i'm a 100% HT guy, no music whatsover?
    1 point
  37. As mentioned above, its not practical in my case. After all, i'm happy with RC-64ii as i was once happy with RC-62ii. But i think Klipsch could ve made me even happier at the same price range of RC-64ii
    1 point
  38. Absolutely, but its hard to find a new one and i dont favor 2nd speakers so much. I always want them in the brand new condition when buying and the unboxing process, it just feels great, i love it.
    1 point
  39. After experencing the RF-82II doing the job of the center channel, I think that 8" woofers are more capable of reproducing midbass and upper bass than 6.5" woofers if they are all built with equal quality.
    1 point
  40. The RC-84ii would be great but i think that a RC-82ii (2 8"woofers) is just enough for me and i would prefer it to RC-64II. A design of 2 8" woofers and a 1.75 tweeter is maybe less expensive than RC-64II in a long box. It may be thicker and higher for about 2 inches maybe, but i ll willingly sacrifice that space for the sound i need.

  41. Hello. Where can I buy/get replacements for Klipsch ProMedia v2-400 subwoofer's cracked foam rings? Any from Best Buy, Radio Shack, Costco, Walmart, Fry's Electronics, etc. in or near Los Angeles (L.A.) area? Thank you in advance.
    1 point
  42. Replace the whole part and not just the foam? The rubber foam rings was already removed. Too bad Klipsch doesn't sell parts. They wanted me to replace the whole thing! Um, no if it works. Just need part replacements.

  44. Heavy Horses - for lifting stuff - Fini and Dtel would have been handy to have around. a nice torpedo-shaped Bering? Strangely, we listened through one or two KP250's or KP301's most of the day. Couldn't play too loud because of Doc's testing apparatus. We were blasting some tunes through pieces/parts of the KP600 rig as we tested each section. Doc played one of my faves - Billy Cobham with Tommy Bolin and Jan Hammer at the end of the afternoon through the entire KP600 stack, but we didn't really have enough crossovers to do that properly. Remember- that stack is 5 way! We checked Doc's measurements and his shot at crossover points against the Klipsch literature last night. The kid was very very close to hitting it per spec. Doc is good. Really good. Then he showed me around the DBX DriveRack PA last night. We hooked up two KP201's and used one for a 'sub' and the other mid/highs. I got the graphic, parametric, comp/limiter, and Subharmonic synthesizer working successfully. I asked Doc how I was doing on the learning curve. He asks me 'is this your FIRST digital speaker processor?', Yup, I answers, Doc says I kick butt over his student buddies. I said 'I should'. LOL

  47. When you need your subs inspected, call in the BEST, call Mr. Paint! Michael Hurd saw some woofer sag due to the bins being kept on their backs for too long. Solution: since reconing is not available, set the cones face down for a few months with weights on the backside of the cone to recenter the spider and accordion surround - per Hunter's suggestions.
