  1. not a peep, and honestly, not a great way to do business.....
  2. Yea, me too, I know what my wife would say.....you don't wanna know....
  3. Good question, but hard to say....labels are tricky little devils. I have come across a few that have "no" signatures, but after looking at them very, very closely, you can sometimes make out something that has been there, an impression in the paper, etc. Hard to believe, but I think that some of them were actually signed in pencil, which I would have a hard time thinking any of the newer models would have....More than the label though, is there anything else about the speaker that might raise your question? Possible to open it up and look at the crossover? Just a thought....
  4. Try this, it works. I have used it for several years with great success with two fully clawed felines. http://www.petcomfortzone.com/cats
  5. Northwest Indiana here...if we could meet anywhere BUT Chicago, I'm in....Bali, Paris, Helsinki....
  6. Next time, use canola oil on her feet, not coconut.....
  7. Bad Company would be better....lol I "re-discovered" Paul Rodgers and realized how good he was/is....
  8. Have you tried Klipsch tech support? Klipsch R6m headphones have replaced the S4A. Check them out here: klipsch.com/R6m
  9. I would say it's a good price, considering the upgrades. Ask for more photos.....
  10. Only thing is, that the rear tag does not specify it as a pro. Only HII-SBL. Interested to hear more about what you find out.
  11. What makes you think that it looks like a pro speaker? It looks exactly like mine (which is walnut), but has the tag mounted on the riser...which is interesting. Mine has the tag mounted on the bottom right of the grill. Interested to hear your thoughts.
  12. They have casters inserted in the bottoms? And look dry as a bone....Yikes.
  13. Can't go wrong with the list in the wiki!! Some bad a$$ stuff there for sure.....
  14. Sorry for buttin' in, but, nice photos, and nice table....
  15. Heck Claude, $650 tops with your "super mod" would be more like it!! THAT would be a deal.....
  16. Wow, these are sweet looking....I would swoop on these babies if only... Get em! http://chicago.craigslist.org/nwc/ele/4678806102.html
  17. Probably been asked before, but pretty hard to search on something like this.... Anyway, I'm asking this for really no other reason other than just general knowledge, and hopefully others on the forum will benefit from the knowledge, opinions, and experience of other folks here. Simply for the sake of conversation and knowledge....nothing else.... And, by the way, "We" doesn't mean everyone.....but..... "We" seem to have no problems replacing capacitors, or entire crossovers, and in fact, make sure that it is made clear that this is the case when posting speakers for sale... "We" seem to have no problems replacing tweeter and mid diaphragms, and in fact.....same as above.... "We" seem to have no problems having woofers re-coned, or fully replaced, and in fact....same as above.... So, given the above, I have to ask, does this mean that as long as the cabinet is "original" or close to original, that the speaker is still a Heritage speaker? (kind of seems like that... to me...) I think we can all agree that components (including capacitors, diaphragms, surrounds, etc) will all feel their age after 30 years or so. Nothing on these speakers is manufactured to last forever.... So, in addition to the questions above, does it make sense to say "I wouldn't buy" anything other than a pair of speakers with anything other than all original parts? Maybe I should restate that....Would you hesitate to purchase anything other than all original, or mostly welcome the fact that the owner had the knowledge and foresight to replace what may have been needed to be replaced? I'm just sayin'....!!
  18. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Klipsch-Heresy-II-Stereo-Speakers-HBR-100W-Excellent-Condition-/331325533795?ssPageName=ADME:SS:SS:US:1120
  19. And you are replacing them with what? Anything? Hope so....I have some really nice oak KG 1.5's I would use as a partial trade if you are interested....
  20. Personally, I think it's almost night and day with tubes or ss with Belles....You will absolutely love the tubes with your Belles, I do. Although I don't have Chorus II's (but dearly want some....), I would imagine that a good tube amp would rock the world with those big boys....sorry, a little carried away I know..... So, having said that, I have this sweetheart that I have used to power everything from Heresy's, to Cornwall's to Belle's, (mostly for testing), but it is quite impressive for it's size and price. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0057OI448?psc=1 But then again, I also have Justin Weber's bad a$$ Stereo 15 Special Edition that is absolutely awesome as my main,go to, everyday, power source. It's on the Belle's now, and will stay there.....Check it out.... http://ampsandsound.com/products/amps/stereo-15-special-edition/
