Gil: When Christy returns on Monday she will be contacting about sending the information on where to send. If possible I think we will want to discuss with you by phone, or other means, what you remember about who was in the photos, etc. We will also review with Roy and anyone else there to see what other pieces to the puzzle we might be able to add. They are? When did they decide this? Last I heard they were studying this with some commission. One issue that kept coming up is people who had misdemeanor drug convictions in Canada under older laws being able to get pardons so they were eligible to get work visas for the US.

That is what prompted me to think there might be something going on differently there than other places. I remember they wanted to slice a very narrow exception for para-mutual betting. It will be interesting to see what Arkansas does on it.

I would think there is a different dynamic going on in Kentucky. The Bourbon makers may be heavily opposed to it.

Klipsch Jubilee for HOME THEATER
Travis In Austin replied to Travis In Austin's topic in Home Theater
The KPT-KHJ-LF isn't going anywhere, the 402 horn for sure isn't going anywhere, that's pretty much the basic Jubilee, from there you determine if you want to go 2-way with just the 402, or the KPT 935 3-way as shown. The 2 way and 3 way each have different SKU numbers. The difference being the drivers, and the upper horn assembly that is provided. The ideal system will have 3 across the front so it is for sure intended to be a behind the screename application (how many theaters have you been to where the mains were in front of the screen?), however, Roy has come up with a couple of alternatives for a smaller center with either a 402 or a 510 on top. It has been around for quite awhile. But they have never had marketing materials, like this poster, specifically targeting a Pro Cinema product for "Home Theater" -

Travis In Austin replied to Chris A's topic in Technical/Restorations
Any common threads to the list of LP's? Engineer, studio, producer, mixing , mastering? Several of those records have very detailed histories about the recording process, the mix and the mastering.- 52 replies

Really? complaining about falling out? I have never experienced that. Even Neil Young says they are super comfortable and recommends them. Maybe @Vlad will see this and can recommend something for you. -
Recommendation about which speaker to use
Travis In Austin replied to pat_in_dfw's topic in Klipsch Pro Audio
You want to talk to @Chief bonehead aka Roy Delgado at Klipsch. He is the Sr. Engineer in charge of all of that pro stuff and is the go to guy on sound reinforcement and permanent installations. You should send him a PM or give him a call at Klipsch. Travis -

What projects are you working on in your spare time ?
Travis In Austin replied to Seadoc's topic in Lounge
The Klipsch Heritage Museum Association and the Klipsch Museum of Audio History , along with several other folks. -
We can certainly try to arrange that, might have to get creative and come up with numerous categories, but we can figure a way. We do in fact have official IRS 501c3 status and the Board will be deciding and finalizing categories of membership, donation levels, and sponsorships as the case may be. More news to follow. Travis

It's a good thing in my view. Unfortunately it got diverted. I have taken care of that by hiding that user's posts. Unfortunately it has left a few responses to those posts out of context. If people want to leave them as is that is fine, if they want to edit them that is fine too. if they want me to hide them I am happy to do that too. Just PM me. Everyone can carry on from the point of the unnecessary interruption . I don't think it merits any additional comment or discussion in your thread. If you, or anyone else, wishes to discuss it further you can PM me so that the discussion can proceed without further interruption or distraction . Travis
