ha! They gave me a pretty sweet machine earlier this year... Macbook Pro i7 2.6Ghz, 16GB RAM, 500GB SSD drive, and Parallels so I can run Windows in it. I feel dirty when I run windows on mac. Windows 10 was such a pain in the butt I am scared of IE11. You are dirty but that's besides the point MAC BOY:-0 LOL The she mama has nothing but bad things to say about iOS7 ever since she accidentally downloaded it:-) Users!

Hmm, wonder how all four walls and the ceiling would work? It would sure look cool;-) Like the A-Chamber in hope I have a buddy back home in Texas that literally did the 4 wall/ceiling thing in his sound room but with those 4x4 foam panels years ago and like the anechoic chamber was dead quite and had no echo when you clapped your hands! That ceiling looks like each one of those insets would be perfect for the foam inserts.

Don't get me wrong in this statement as I liked Lou and have sevreral of his albums but I just don't think he was near as influential as they are purporting him to have been!Yes Schu, there will no longer be a Sharkey's Night for Laurie:-(

I've been down this road. Something is only worth what someone will pay. Just because you wouldn't pay it and I may not pay it doesn't mean no one else will. I've discovered that other peoples price points are not my business. If I don't want to pay it I just move on. Indeed Philly and as the old saying goes there is a sucker born everyday

Youth, even the Nautilus series will not sound that much diffent than your current B&W's. The entire difference in these two speakers are the horns, they will always be lively sounding as opposed to the direct rediating speakers. I'm sure the bass can also be as nice as the B&W's but I feel between the speaker crossover points and the bright characteristics of that horn the RF-7's have a stronger/brighter sounding top end compared to the DM's. This I know for a fact as I have two systems in the man cave, my tube driven LaScla's are my live music system and my B&W 804 BAT backed setup is more for studio for me. These are just my observations between the direct radiators and horn loaders in my room YMMV[] They are two different animals but I like the way each sounds with these types of recordings.

So true Schu! That is why it's extremely important to research current reviews of the release on vinyl enthusiast sites. You will also find out which manufacturers are consistent with clean lacquers. I've found some to lack in quality control when it comes to warp as well[]

Nice table A1UC, my Baboon handed buddy recently got one and proceded to kill his nice $900.00 Clear Audio Vituoso on it[] First he couldn't figure out how to mount that cartridge to the headshell or in the TT-15's case headbar! So he finally get's it mounted only to be in a drug induced (pain killers) state a few days later and bent the dog out of his cantilever[] How many times you got to tell a guy drugs/alcohol and analog don't mix[8-)]

My apologies for never adresing this for you Duder, must have missed it[:$] I used one of the old shelfs from my walll mount rack in my last places sun room. This I spent $54.00 bucks on all the hardware to hang my table from that gabled roof. Pretty sure it would solve your bass vibration problem because my WT Amadeus is dead quite on this shelf[] Here's a pic showing the hardware. all from home depot.

By the looks of Shakey's setup I'd say that room is his, like my attic some of us are just lucky enough to bypass WAF. Mine gets the rest of the house so why not give the old man a place to call his own[] Mine's attitude is it keeps me off the streets and out of the bars plus the advantage of opening the attic staiwell door and saying "Honey do this or Honey do that" whenever she likes[:|]
