  1. Exactly. With an incubation period of possibly near a month, not much you can do other than steer clear of others. That Rogan video with the Dr that said he was a Virus investigator said you could just breathe the same air in a office as a carrier and catch it. Another Dr said its was so contagious that the molecules of the Virus could be passed as easily as the molecules you would smell of a Pizza just coming out of an oven. Now that is scary
  2. Likely more dips to come. The west coast is poised to light up with the COV and fear of a possible front runner also gonna rock the boat.
  3. In case anyone believes in numbers reported https://www.arcgis.com/apps/opsdashboard/index.html#/bda7594740fd40299423467b48e9ecf6
  4. I think they're worried over there because a major, major part of their population have to continue to eat Bats, Porcupines, Asian Turtles, Dog soup, fresh water shrimp, and a plethora of bottom feeding fish among others grown in ponds of sewage while their fowl live in cages hung above these ponds which actually feed the fish life with their poop......boy that was a run-on sentence. Could it be that Mother nature is bringing on her wrath naturally? No regulations for anything you buy over there, did anyone ever mention how filthy things are over there? Its just a big repeat like SARS, the bird flu and others. 500,000 die every year from merely food poisoning. Since the 1980's HIV infected 60 million people and over half have died. Im not downplaying this corona variant, but I certainly hope it is just more of the same.
  5. All of this is bent over current perception and fear of the unknown. The market will continue to fall with bleak news until the virus has peaked, while all along a certain group will continue to churn out how we're doomed and we havent thrown enough money at this thing to make it just go away. Once we realize 70% of the world isnt going to be a graveyard, things will shoot right back up. People will still have to have their ROKU and the youngins, will pitch their McDonalds money away to APPL this fall for the new phone offering. They will also think bedbugs are no big deal since they survived this virus and go back to catching their rides with the UBER hippies. China will be hit the hardest, with crushing production loss and more obvious facts that their few elbow rubbing allies will not be able to just brush off. Hopefully we will fill the gaps from these shortages, create more new companies, pay a little more for it and push this country to trust and rely other parts of the world less. And then again, this could turn out to literally be very, very ugly with a proven source that this virus was lab produced with traits geared more along the lines of HIV components purely geared for Bio warfare included a fast spreading and mutating novel that will continue to revolve from now until the end of times. This could be the start of total country isolation with travel and trade coming to a halt and basically everything we have known since the late 19th century. As far as the market goes...I hear 3M is a buy right now in the $150's It was in the $220 range a year ago, but I think their production on a lot of their goods is going to show a big spurt after all of this
  6. Just give me an excuse to disappear on the River for a week . Crappie season is gonna be on in about 3 - 4 weeks.
  7. We wont get a vaccine and whatever they do throw out there wont be here until well into 2021 they say. Hell we have been studying the Flu for decades and decades and they cant get an effective vaccine for the projected strain year after year. This is going to fizzle out like the bird flu, SARS or the other variants they have over there or it will blow up and most of us will have survived it over the next 5 years or so. Sometimes its good to live in a rural or low population community. So far, 16,000 people have died and 280,000 people have been hospitalized during the 2019-2020 flu season, according to preliminary estimates from the CDC.

    NFL 2019

I enjoyed it and I was eagerly awaiting a wardrobe malfunction, but I get the other side where some of that is not really family friendly and I got it first hand. We were at a close friends house with their 6 year old daughter and their other 11 year old twin girls and they were all sitting at the bar eating cheese dip on the edge of their seat. They weren't around for the game, obviously, but the halftime performance had been so hyped up with their friends or TV I guess, they were waiting to see J Lo. Their parents aren't really ones to hide the world from their kids, but I have to admit, it was a bit uneasy to watch that and have youngsters there while everyone hooped and hollered about it. The hand gestures and the close ups were not something that was really needed. I thought the kids singing their segment after JLO climbed down from her pole was really nice and helped tidy things up a bit. The silver Creeper dude that showed up mumbling some sort of strange language should have been left out, he really just diluted things. The Music and Vocals were pretty dismal IMO, but as far as lunchtime time waster video over burger, a beer and a few coworkers, it would be worthy for another view.
  9. Nothing worse than to sit down with a system that someone wants you to hear, they hit the power and you're immediately put off from an idle hiss while they're picking out some content to play. Its like a hair in your soup, its just doesn't go away. And right when things are running along nicely you get this really black rest in the track and there it is again. No one knows how much silence makes a difference, you add a truly treated room to the equation and suddenly you're hearing parts of a track you never knew were there for past decades.
  10. Fake news from the 80's? Didn't he move his wife out of their home to a rental dig along with their son that has CP? Not his wife, it was a girlfriend. Anyways, not a great story as she had to sue him.
  11. Didn't he basically abandon his handicapped son and the kids mom back in the 80's ? Sometimes there ARE great musicians that do bad things.
  12. Most of our meaningful accomplishments since indoor plumbing have flourished on making things more convenient or entertaining. Not counting everything out, but what has made a true milestone ?
  13. This says it all..... " a super efficient rating at 104 watts sound pressure level at one meter " There is comfort and frustration when you immediately know a salesman or a seller understands way less about a product than yourself, and you haven't even opened your mouth to learn this.
  14. He was a master of counting and bringing perfection to all of his work. He would be the first to add that he didn't get a solo right or was off here and there with specific track performance, noting that he could only nail some of his work 70% of the time. Not only that, he was behind damn near all the lyrics on all the albums. One thing I never knew about him was his height at 6'4" Very sad indeed. Their multi channel offerings are great and really emphasize Niels work. Now if I could just afford Hemispheres on bluray
  15. The plant previously used Red Devil black satin, but that was a few decades ago
  16. An old MAC mini here. Still running I tunes with everything ripped via ALAC lossless. The wireless mouse and keyboard are very handy while listening and surfing on the couch. It takes a decent stereo DVD or a good multi channel to make my hair stand up anymore, but I know there are much better ears here than mine.
  17. VG 10 steel. 65 Layer. That's a pretty hard stainless metal. I would say that is a very fine set. I would pick up a good double sided stone like a King 1000/6000 and not touch them with that steel.
  18. If you can get by with the ugly and dated looks and don't have a large family, the sub $400 Roper, Amana, Whirlpool, Kenmoore (all built by Whirlpool) dryers work like a champ. Parts are cheap, cheap and anyone can diagnose any issues with a $20 meter. I have some that are over 10 years old and never been opened up. Cant say that about my fancy Samsung, but I have only swapped the tension pulley last year on it and its about 10 years old.
  19. What I have seen is the back and the tops of the dryers will get extremely hot, but wont dry. These are mostly old and basic budget units. I just show up when they say the dryers arent working. Luckily, only about half of the homes come furnished with a Washer and Dryer. Also, washing the lint screen with soap and a scrub brush sometimes helps the air flow. Dryer sheets and left over softening additives to the clothes while being washed can act like wax on the screen and literally hold water on them building up and just cutting the air passing through them even more. A new hose is always best, but Im always dealing with a long run of PVC through a slab.
  20. i have about 15 rods and deal with vents that run over 30 feet. Just chuck it in your portable drill, high speed and it will chew all the lint off that the humid, warm air basically glues to the inside of the tube. The leaf blower will only get rid of the dry clumped matter. The kit also comes with a rough bit to chew through what ever Rats have packed in the there. I had one where they chewed through the louvered cover and packed roofing paper and tons of garb in there and it was a tough one for sure. They carried it all the way to the beginning of the tube with involved a sharp 90 degree turn through the slab. That was a warm spot for them that winter. And of course the laundry area was in the center of the house which didnt make things easier. Sometimes I have to start from outside and push it all towards the the vent inlet indoors and use a shop vac to pull out the funk. Those rods are very flexible and durable. That kit has never failed getting the job done. Just dont reverse your drill as each rod section is threaded !
  21. I manage a few properties and these work great. https://www.northlineexpress.com/linteater-rotary-dryer-vent-cleaning-system.html?utm_source=googlepepla&utm_medium=adwords&id=&gclid=CjwKCAiAob3vBRAUEiwAIbs5TrWeh4T7v2mZ93-MwiXAij61j2xKBcwsqD-b51H2xsHpqFP5aAAfVxoCWQUQAvD_BwE
  22. Industrial enamel. Pick a color that you can easily pick up in a spray can for touch ups. Hit the rust with 36 grit and a DA. Def. prime the ugly spots
