  1. I'm sure everything will fit just perfectly...you can figure out the whole sub thing later...When I was at Derricks for the GTG he had a sub kind of built into a corner table between the couches. Just get the Khorns in....and relax for a weekend or so....Then figure the rest out. George,
  2. +1 to that....they have everything.
  3. Don't get the wrong idea painting them is easy.... I do understand you might not want honey oak....you could go a different color stain....more work.... but worth every second when finished. But if you really need to paint Valspar makes a black lacquer that will be best.... George,
  4. What ..... DO NOT paint them.....Please.......send pics ...... George,
  5. I do like both of the new heritage grill cloths....I have been searching for the proper font for the logo...still have not figured it out yet. George,
  6. I wish I had that problem....Just say to yourself...Where am I going to put the Khorns I got for 1/4 the price because I have too many Belle's. Going to be hard to sleep at night......NOT George,
  7. Nice.....How difficult is it to keep the pattern parallel and square? George,
  8. Belle as a center.....Good Idea...That Weber guy is always thinking....and I don't think he ever sleeps. He is always on. Looking forward for the un boxing of the Khorns. Congratulations!! George,
  9. My favorite 3D movie is Avatar...the scene when the white things are floating through the air... ....San Andras was pretty good. I know 3D is on its way out...I have slowly been increasing my collection, George,
  10. tromprof, I am sending you a PM. George,

  12. I will say one thing....every pair I rebuild has parts from Bob in them...... Thanks again Bob... G.E.M.
  13. Same to you Derrick....have a great holiday....you can turn it up as loud as you want....I am heading down to Arkansas.....I wont hear it..... I think...but you can try Happy Holidays to all. G.E.M.
  14. Worry about it ....no....wish it wasn't there ....yes...My car has a full belly ban and the filter is on the top...I think it is about 16 screws to take belly pan off...even the dealer doesn't remove the oil pan drain plug. Manufacture recommends changing synthetic oil every 10k miles...I do it every 5k. Don't get me wrong I do understand that there may be a little dirty oil left.....but with the ground clearance of my vehicle..... getting underneath is not an option. G.E.M.
  15. I haven't drained oil that way in years . I use a Mityvac https://www.amazon.com/Mityvac-7201-Fluid-Evacuator-Plus/dp/B007QV0966/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1482264444&sr=8-9&keywords=mighty+vac
  16. Hey are you the guy buying and showing all those different bottles of booze in the What I got today topic.......That would explain your answer....the woodpecker had a regular bill. G.E.M.
  17. I do like the locking feature of these GLS ones....and you can get spade connectors if you want... Good find....I was not aware of these....That's why I love this place....You can always find a guy better S..t "Honey I know what I want in my stocking this year" G.E.M.
  18. I normally buy these https://www.amazon.com/Deadbolt-Banana-12-pair-Sewell-Direct/dp/B006U3O566/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1482026515&sr=8-1-spons&keywords=banana+plug&psc=1 Normally use 12 awg wire...(any home center) I like them. ......Hdmi ...monoprice Not affiliated with either. G.E.M.
  19. Quartets are awesome speakers......think of them like a mini Fort'e. I would take a pair of Quartets over Heresy's any day of the week. Probably one of the best speakers I ever owned....I hope I do not regret selling them.....Na....Still got a couple sets of Forte's. But if I found a pair that needs rescuing I'd go for them. G.E.M.
  20. Wow.........one more time....Wow G.E.M.
  21. I'd probably go with the one from Tisbury that Thaddeus suggested....seems reasonable. G.E.M.
  22. Wow......you get everything G.E.M.
  23. Personally I have never used titanium diaphragms for the midrange on any of the Fort'e / Fort'e II or Chorus II I have ever rebuilt. I do always change the tweeters to Bobs titanium diaphragms. Have you had a chance to reinstall the old diaphragms back in the tweeters to see if the hissing sound go's away. Do you have this hissing on both channels or only 1. As far as the crossovers....you could send them to Bob the rebuild if you are not much for soldering. You could buy new ones from him. If you really think it is the crossovers...send them to Bob.....But first kind of make sure the hissing isn't coming from source. If only 1 channel swap tweeters from one speaker to the other and see if it follows the tweeter or the issue is indeed with that crossover. G.E.M.
  24. It know it might a little tough but ...you could always store some stuff at my house....I could even make sure it works...... everyday. Since you are a forum member...no charge G.E.M.
