Welcome...what equipment do you currently use? I recently bought my first tube amp (Jolida) and quickly bought another (Dennis Had Inspire).

Cool I have this top section but no Jub LF section. Considered splitting up and making a 904 set with the K510 horn and a 904 LF. Keeping the 402 no way will I sell those.

What LF was used in this K402/510 combo?

So I'm curious as to what glasses you have used that works either as a prescription or not? I see those cheesy TV infomercial ones and think they are a waste of money. I need something as well my vision has always been bad but is getting worse at night.

Yep that (DE75) is what I have on my 402's and they sound damn good to me!

Can anyone pointme to the thread that explains how to do this? I have a set of decorators that I would luike to add metal grills over the woofers for protection. I've searched but can't seem to find it.

@CECAA850 has QSC running his mains and they sounded fine when I heard them. I have used a PLX 1804 on my 904’s with no issues.

Dave I used one of my emotiva pre amps before buying the mixer. I noticed no loss in sound quality when I installed the mixer. Mine sounds really really good to my ears the only down side is it only has one set of outputs so I will need to add an active crossover when I intagrate the 684 sub. I think you would be fine with a quality mixer.

Well close is subjective but I can tell you to me they were closer to what I love about the 904's. I think you will like them since you love the 904. Now my opinion is based on the cf4's I owned but still the sonic signature and IMPACT should be similar.

I have a rane m24 mixer that I use as a pre for my rack works very well mated to the crown. Has plenty of inputs for sources.

@Dave A I got my popcorn ready Dave! Glad you finally hooked the 402's up they are truly special but you really just have to hear them to understand. For me these are the end of the road. Mine are currently broken down and stored I have been considering building boxes for them and sticking them out in the garage so I can hear them from time to time.

@Pancho how did this unit work? Im considering ordering one so I can compare a couple ss amps against tube amps.
