  1. Welcome to the forum! I was in St Louis once. It was neat. Went to the top of the frown. I've never coded in binary.
  2. I think somebody might have murdered him by now.
  3. No doubt about it. Get a powered sub with high power inputs. What about this little 10"?: http://www.ebay.at/itm/Magnat-Subwoofer-6725A-Downfire-Tieftoner-Aktiv-Sub-350Watt-Heimkino-/371710283845?hash=item568ba8d045:g:OOgAAOSwI3RW8wEA
  4. HAHA! I was right! I am a hacker bloodhound!
  5. They figured out you are a master hacker so they blocked you.
  6. Very beautiful and a very high WAF I am sure. Nice work Matt.!
  7. If you power cycle your router, it will release/renew your IP address and give you a new one. If the CL block is on a subnet level (range of IP's), this trick may not work depending on whether your new IP address is within the subnet being blocked.
  8. That's heresy. Ready, set, spit! At the National Watermelon Seed Spitting Contest in New Orleans
  9. Those are beautiful, not to mention beefy! Has anybody ever discussed the pros and cons of adding gasket material to the backs of Heresy's? Have you considered it on this redo?
  10. Was listening to BBC World News the other day and they were talking about slavery in the modern world. I was disgusted by the statistics in the 21st century no less! The number that strikes me is 21. There are 21 million slaves today. In the UK, Parliament has passed the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015. Relevant to this thread, is the Transparency in Supply Chains Provision (TISC) provision of the law. This means that companies, at least with companies sourcing from the UK, will be establishing an infrastructure within their supply chains for recognizing compliance with anti-slavery laws. Those suppliers will then be creating their own systems for discovering noncompliance. This corporate responsibility angle on anti-slavery should prove to be very effective in reducing the slave trades. I'm not sure if there is any such movement in the laws of the USA, but that's no reason that domestic companies shouldn't volunteer to follow the UK's lead. Has Voxx International considered or done this? Perhaps partnering with an anti-slavery nonprofit would be a good thing: http://www.antislavery.org/english/what_you_can_do/corporate_fundraising.aspx
  11. I'd never heard of them. They have a good sound! No idea why there is no video of actual people in this clip, but it is their official audio with 8.6M+ views. Nice find Tom's son.
  12. The most live sounding speakers I have are the LaScalas. I didn't see them in your list. There is a steep roll-off starting at about 60Hz. Just enough for a nice kickdrum sound. Since the LS has a horn loaded bass bin as well as horns for the midrange and tweeter, it is among the most natural sounding Klipsch. You can step up into bigger speakers with the Jubilee and the Cinema offerings, but for consumer level it's the LaScala and if you have the room for it Klipschorns.
  13. So you have more than one Yamaha M-40 amplifier and you are pairing 2 pairs of speakers with 2 amps? If so, what is your preamp, and are you playing digital (CD, Pandora, iPhone) or analog (phono, tape)?
  14. Cane is the best. Too bad it is so tough on the fingers.
  15. I heard it too. Was in Cleveland at the time.
  16. Am I correct that you have individual Klipsch speakers of different models and you are trying to make pairs out of them for stereo listening? What are you driving them with?
  17. What do you mean by "freq adjusted"? How is that done, different values caps and inductors?
  18. It seems like science is once again mimicking science fiction. http://memory-alpha.wikia.com/wiki/Bio-neural_gel_pack, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/T-1000 and http://memory-alpha.wikia.com/wiki/Positronic. When I watch shows like that I wonder when it will become real. You know that if somebody thought it up, somebody else is going to figure out how to make it happen when technology catches up. What I would really like to see are: replication technology "Star Trek" Einstein–Rosen bridge "Stargate" teleportation " Star Trek" space/time travel "Dr. Who" vacation spots in the Cosmos I should stop there. I don't want to put too much on the physicists plates.
  19. @etc6849 and @willland both have copies of it. See thread: Found Copy of Subcommander EQ Software for RT-10d's PM them both and see if either can dig it up.
  20. I voted for the dark theme as the best fr the default, but I still think the light background for the unread posts is confusing. I want to put this out there a bit differently. I understand negative colors are supposedly the more contrasting, but it is not true. I have found that if you display any image in gray-scale, you see the true contrast at all illumination levels. With a dark theme, the illumination level is low, which lends itself to gray-scale all that much more. In the image below, which looks more prominent, the read messages or the unread messages? Top half is grey and the bottom is color...
  21. This thread should be titled "The Best Looking AA Networks".
  22. From a security standpoint I would agree. Since they are local pickup, it would seem a bit less dangerous. Just take a pit bull and a machine gun if it's in a bad neighborhood.
