If you have some spare cash to spend, look into a 2 channel tube amp, say 20 to 30 watts per. Might just take it up a notch in sound quality - maybe even notches unknown!

I liked it better when Costello was waving his hands over the keyboard with Abbott behind the piano with a record player playing Chopin's Nocturne, just to impress a girl. All he had to do was say "ALRIGHT" for Abbott to stop the player when Costello was done. Only trouble was Chopin's music kept putting Abbott to sleep.

I purchased a pair of speakers from Justin about 2 years ago just like those 3 ways (except mine were a beautiful satin black, not that incredible veneer). They sound fantastic with a tube amp - needs to be heard to be believed.

Recently saw "Gentleman Jim Corbett" with Errol Flynn, interestingly made in 1942, the same year Ali was born. I don't know if anyone here saw this wonderful movie (imo), but it was striking the way Corbett's style of fighting was pretty much exactly the same as Ali's. Now did Ali ever see the movie???, I suppose we'll never know and if he did, he probably wouldn't have said so. Great movie, highly recommended!!

Another vote for Nils Lofgren, and I've been looking for a CD (or copy) of "Bozay plays Bozay" which is supposed to sound incredible on Klipsch speakers. Audio quality is quite high.

Chorus ll's at 300 watts would fry my brain. Call me a wimp but 20 watts with those is plenty watts for me!

Even $1000 is a decent price, if they are in nice condition.
