  2. Thanks for those vintage spec sheets - Super!
  3. Paul, just wondered if you ever listened to a pair of Cornwalls with a tube amp. Just askin'. I did in a small shop in Biloxi, Miss in 1974 and have been a fan of Klipsch Heritage since.
  4. Welcome to our forum, and yes you should look into freshining up your crossover. I just installed (actually 4 hours ago) a "Bob Crites" special and it's superlative!
  5. Anyone know the date on that?
  6. Have to ask, why did you sell your Scott amp? I find it's a match made in heaven with the Klipsch Heritage speakers. Did it put off too much heat for your room?
  7. "Knukoncep" .....looks like some good stuff.
  8. My velcro never comes loose. Must be good velcro.
  9. Hey Rich Guy, put a Star Trek sticker on your speakers and sell it for $60,000. ................I keed, I keed, says Triumph, the insult dog.
  10. Yea I remember I had one of those too! Pretty good signal to noise ratio I believe. (For a cassette player, that is).
  11. I believe the big Chryslers from the mid 50's to early 60's had these. 8 track cassette killed it since it wouldn't skip when you hit a bump.
  12. Wow, some of those covers I wouldn't touch with a 10 foot phonograph needle!
  13. Thanks for the report! I find though that he's basically trying to make a transistor/IC chip amplifier to sound as good as a vacuum tube amp. I know it can be done but boy, are they expensive!
  14. I believe the original owner of these was a Mr. Willy Wonka. You may want to ask him about them.
  15. Please, I prefer not to be reminded of that phrase. It turned out rather badly, you see.
  16. Thanks boom3, ......and I love your witty saying - "I prefer science-based faith to faith-based science".
