Paul, just wondered if you ever listened to a pair of Cornwalls with a tube amp. Just askin'. I did in a small shop in Biloxi, Miss in 1974 and have been a fan of Klipsch Heritage since.
Welcome to our forum, and yes you should look into freshining up your crossover. I just installed (actually 4 hours ago) a "Bob Crites" special and it's superlative!
Have to ask, why did you sell your Scott amp? I find it's a match made in heaven with the Klipsch Heritage speakers. Did it put off too much heat for your room?
Thanks for the report! I find though that he's basically trying to make a transistor/IC chip amplifier to sound as good as a vacuum tube amp. I know it can be done but boy, are they expensive!
