  1. Every room is different, but I have found that bass traps often function best in the far opposite upper corners from the bass speakers.
  2. I admire Paul Klipsch for his achievements. Musicians, songwriters and producers make it possible to really appreciate my Klipsch speakers purpose.
  3. When driving in a low profile car, almost all pick-up truck and SUV headlights appear to be on high beam.
  4. That is a great suggestion. It will also help keep the speaker from "walking" off the top of the sub when played loud.
  5. Look forward to seeing pictures of your speakers and studio. You have got me wondering if I would use dado slotted wood, or extruded aluminum channel to mount some Coroplast in my place, if your listening test results are good. I am curious about your aesthetic plan to mount or retain the ends of your curved, tensioned Coroplast panels.
  6. I have read your build threads over the years. There was one a while back where you expressed a wish to build a K-402 style horn, because you could not import it. Can you update us about that?
  7. The Sound Plank is an interesting product. Some of yours appear to be different sizes than on the website. Did you cut some of your panels to fit your lay-out?
  8. What is the composition of the individual panels?
  9. Here is a link to some information about that style woofer, https://community.klipsch.com/index.php?/topic/149117-help-with-identifying-this-15in-sub/
  10. In your picture and other pictures I have seen, it appears that the insulation has white letters and numbers printed on the positive side of the twin cables.
  11. Are the peaks mostly TAD 4002/K-402, or is this usual with other compression drivers on the K-402?
  12. Coroplast corrugated plastic sheeting is much lighter, so your curved panels will be easier to hang on the wall.
  13. Do you have a recommendation for a 2" horn with these drivers when used on a Klipschorn or La Scala?
  14. That seems to be an effective way to power your center channel speaker, if the link below is for your unit. You may want to measure the summed impedance of the left (or right speaker) plus the Mono Mixer and center speaker wired in parallel. If the resistance is lower than your receiver's lowest rating (4 ohms ?), you should probably wire the left speaker and the respective left input wires to the Mono Mixer in a series circuit, and the same for the right channel. https://www.manualslib.com/manual/536343/Audioplex-Mono-Mixer-Series.html
  15. I am thinking about it, but I also want other forum members to have the opportunity to get them and have the pleasure of owning some very beautiful Klipsch speakers.
  16. I like what you have done with the diffusion and absorption panels in your listening room.
  17. Someone should buy this KB-BRGL pair before I start thinking that I need more Klipschorns.
  18. That is a good looking oak grain pattern. The cabinets appear to be the "K-C" style, which were typically birch and without the collar or the toe plate, so a buyer would be wise to ask for pictures of the labels, if wanting factory original veneer matters to you.
  19. Your A-Team reference is really funny, and because you made me laugh, I will provide free shipping for the free K-400 horn.
  20. Because I like everybody on this thread and the entire forum, I am offering my single K-400 for FREE to Mr. T.
  21. I am just guessing here, but I think Deang is saying that Klipsch the speaker company won't sell a single K-401. I am selling one K-400 horn.
  22. Wheels mounted to the bottom of your insulated platform base probably won't affect the sound, but the perceived sound may change when the speakers are moved to different parts of the room. I would suggest lockable casters.
  23. Maybe you've seen this picture that I had posted in the past. I still think that a pair of KW-120 subs and a KA-1000 amp, with a pair of Heresy III, is a great sounding combination.
