JL Sargent
My son and I picked this pair of Belles up on the Craigslist last week and I thought I would share. He thinks he has an ear for good music.
USNRET
Sweet! but then of course my first thought was 2 (or more, plural you said) southern belles in one bedroom................
Dennie
Great Picture!!! Good lookin' Kid, also! And I think he has a better chance of "having and ear for music" than a lot of the kids I see, with their parents going Boom, Boom, Boom down my street! Looks Great JL, Thanks for sharing it with us! Bill H.
Picture looks like he is saying..............Gee thanks dad, I can take these to College - Right ?
Marvel
Did you pick those up from Ed in Birmingham? I just missed them if those are the ones. A very good score! Bruce
JL Sargent
Hey Marvel, yes these were Ed's. I tried to buy them directly from Ed the night he placed the ad. Low and behold they showed up a few days later again on Craigslist. I emailed the guy and mentioned Ed and how I had just missed them. He said come get em. The rest is history. I suspect after actually getting them, Frank decided they were too big. I picked em up off him with just a little juice added. Thanks for the kind works gents. I have 901s he can take to college. Already he seems to appreciate "cool jazz" a little. His favorite song right now though is "Horse with no name" by America. Lets just say he is getting some diverse exposure. USNRET: I like your way of thinkin.[6]
Blvdre
Just saw your note JL. The Sony looks happy in it's new home - especially with those new Belles to keep it company. Glad to see the boy's learning to appreciate big box horns early. He'll be cutting wood and soldering in no time.
Coytee
Looks great! You might however, consider getting him a larger bed [|-)]
Johnlw7
I have Belles,Cornwalls and JBL monitors in the bedroom.I guess i'll get a hammock so I can put more gear under it.
Rivernuggets
Very nice setup - sweet Belles. Your son is starting out the right way, and those Belles are definately heirloom candidates. I hope to do the same with my son - he's 2 1/2.
JL Sargent
Coytee, you think he needs a bigger bed? Well, maybe. I guess he shouldn't have to stand up just to roll over. On the Sony S7000. Absolutely the best sounding CD player I have owned. Really have enjoyed it. We have a ton of fun playing/recording old albums to the RTR and then listening back. At 6yrs old he is really wowed by recording music.

DU73
I totally agree in that the picture is an amazing one [Y]
JL Sargent
Fortunately the carpet isn't nearly as hot as it comes off in the picture. I'm told red is the hardest color for cameras to get right.
Bill H.
Camera angles are strange.................the Belle on the right looks bigger than the one on the left..............
fini
Paul Klipsch himself was only allowed one Belle in the bedroom, back in the day.
Boxx
Beautiful Belles... Also, glad to see guy's that still have reel to reel's in their set-ups. Enjoy...
JL Sargent
Thanks for your kind words. We listen to this system almost everyday. I enjoy my albums mostly and my wife likes the radio. I use the RTR to record favorite songs from albums for partys and such. The Belles are my favorite speakers. I have owned at least a couple doz. different pairs of various brands. These just really talk to me. Guess I really am a horn nut.[Y]
oldtimer
Wow----spoiled! I am in awe because I never had a decent set up until I paid for it myself. I was spoiled too though because I had all the instruments I needed and wanted. Good job starting the dude out right!
