Moderators dtel Posted February 26, 2014 Moderators Posted February 26, 2014 Coffee I say good morning! I say GM... Obviously a morning person ! I don't really want to hear that, it puts all the pressure on me to have a good morning, and there is only a couple ways for that to happen, and I can't remember when that happened last. But since it's not early, Good Morning back to you. 1 Quote
CECAA850 Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 We ended up going to my brothers house last weekend in Tyler (TX). Of course he's still drinking his Kona which he gets shipped fresh to him from the islands. Normally I have one cup in the morning with breakfast but the 2 mornings we were there, it was 2 + cups a day. Man that stuff is good. I can't believe my wife actually put flavored creamer in it, what a waste. 1 Quote

ssh Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 I use a French press coffee maker. Sometimes I make espresso in an ELEKTRA manual espresso machine. Grinding whole beans of any brand is an improvement over packaged ground coffee. 1 Quote

Tarheel Posted March 4, 2014 Author Posted March 4, 2014 A couple of cups of Trader Joe's French roast while waiting for the lady friend to come over for breakfast. Scrambled eggs, bacon, and cinnamon rolls are on the menu. Fresh squeezed orange juice to wash it all down. Cheers gentlemen! Quote

Moderators dtel Posted March 5, 2014 Moderators Posted March 5, 2014 But buying green and roasting is an even greater improvement. Dave Never tried it, never even tried grinding my own coffee! I did at one time work across from a large coffee company and could smell it roasting all day long, it smelled great but was like torture. Quote
