brians7
So six month or so ago I sold my La Scalas of 12 years to buy some new speakers. I wanted something that looked and sounded better. I bought a sub woofer from SVS and it is great. So decided after reading all the wonderful reviews on there Ultra towers it was time to sell the La Scalas and buy the SVS Ultra Towers. Well the Ultras look better. Only because the La Scalas where a little beat up and some *** lacquered with polyurethane and did a horrible job before I got them. Damn and I am not sure if they sound better. My only complaint with the La Scalas was I felt like I had to listen to them to loud for them to open up and sound great. I replaced the crossovers with ALK Universals many years ago and there was a noticeable improvement. But now I wonder if the new ALK Universal economy crossovers would fix this problem with the ability to turn down the squeaker and the tweeter. Well how about the looks? A beautiful pair of Walnut Belles will fix this problem. I will be going to get these in a few weeks. Besides I missed you guys and felt like a traitor for playing on here and not having any Klipsch in the house.

I believe Schu was upset because he planned to try a last moment snipe bid, but the owner sold them and ended the auction snooze you loose Edited August 22, 2014 by joessportster
minermark
16 hours drive eh? Well that beats my 1K mile radius by just a tad. Well worth the road trip though. They will fit in an Expedition, i hope you have something like that.

ChuckAb3
Let us know how your Belle "fix" is working out. Also more pics when you get them home. I passed on a pair maybe 5 or 6 years ago due to price and wish I hadn't. Really like my CW III's, but Belles with a musical sub .........
